YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE SHOULDN’T REQUIRE A SPREADSHEET. 😂💜

Somewhere along the way, skincare got complicated.

Twelve-step routines. Fifty-seven ingredients we can’t pronounce. Serums for this, creams for that, and apparently, we’re all supposed to wake up looking 25 again.

Um, no thanks. We’ve got enough going on.

At Hereward Farms, we believe skincare should fit into your life. Not become another full-time job.

That’s why we created five thoughtfully formulated skincare products, made with lavender grown right here on our Ontario farm.

🐈🧡 HAPPY GLOBAL CAT DAY! 🧡🐈

Apparently, today is a day to celebrate cats.

Which is adorable, considering Gordie has been celebrating himself every single day since he moved in. 🙄

Let’s be clear. Gordie doesn’t consider himself a pet.

He’s the CEO of Hereward Farms, Head of Treat Distribution, Director of Napping Operations, and Chief Supervisor of Absolutely Nothing.

He owns the furniture, controls the household, demands cuddles on his schedule, and somehow has two full-time humans working to support his lifestyle.

And the worst part?

We think we’re the lucky ones. 🧡

Happy Global Cat Day to all the furry little freeloaders who have somehow convinced us that we’re the staff.

The blooms have been harvested, the fields are winding down for the season, but the beauty of lavender doesn’t end when the flowers disappear.

I’M STILL NOT OVER THIS. 🇨🇦💜

Six years.

Six years of growing lavender, making products, building this crazy little Canadian business — and somehow, moments like this still hit exactly the same.

Hereward Farms is in LCBO Food & Drink Magazine.

Like… WHAT?!

We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have some pretty amazing coverage over the years, but it never gets old. It’s kind of like knowing Santa comes every year — you know it happens, but you’re still ridiculously excited when he shows up. 😂

A huge thank you to the Culinary Tourism Alliance and Feast On® for including us and, more importantly, for continuing to shine a spotlight on the incredible businesses growing, making and creating right here in Ontario.

Building a Canadian business isn’t always easy.

But moments like this?
They’re pretty damn special.

Instagram made me buy it. And honestly, Instagram has made me buy much worse. 😂

Somewhere in my endless scrolling, I came across @artby.krysta and immediately knew I wanted her to paint our house.

Simple enough, right?

Except… could we add the lavender? 💜
And the sunflowers? 🌻
And OBVIOUSLY Gordie.

Specifically, my absolute favourite photo of Gordie amongst the sunflowers — because apparently even commissioned artwork requires approval from the Chief Nap Officer. 🐈😂

Krysta, you absolutely outdid yourself.

This is so much more than a painting of our house. It’s our home. Our farm. The lavender we planted, the sunflowers we grew, the place we’ve poured so much of ourselves into… and one ridiculously photogenic orange cat who somehow became part of the whole story.

We love supporting artists.
We love supporting small businesses.
And we REALLY love supporting Canadian. 🇨🇦

There are some things you buy because they’re beautiful.
