What actually happens when you start 1:1 support?

A lot of the beginning is simply getting to know you, what’s been happening, what you’ve already tried, how you’ve been coping, and what you’d like to feel different.

There isn’t a “right” answer to any of these questions. They’re simply places we can begin. 🤍

I currently offer 1:1 online sessions and a free 15-minute consultation for anyone who wants to see if working together feels like a good fit.

Details are in the link in my bio.

hi, i’m diena or u can call me fuji 🤍

here with fuji is a gentle, reflective space for the soft-hearted, the overthinkers, the quiet feelers, and anyone learning how to come home to themselves again.

with a background in psychology and training in person-centred approaches, cbt, and sfbt, i draw from these to offer a warm, reflective space with gentle, practical tools to help you understand your story, untangle your thoughts, and care for yourself in a steadier way.

this space isn’t about quick fixes. it’s about creating a grounded, compassionate place to explore your inner world at your own pace.

welcome. i’m so glad you’re here 🌿 by @herewithfujii

if you grew up believing you had to be good, useful, successful, or easy to love to deserve affection, this reading list is for you. 🤍

6 books about the patterns we carry from childhood into our adult relationships, and how we can begin to understand them.

you don’t have to read them all. start with the one that speaks to where you are right now.

sometimes the best way to respond to an anxious thought is to stop treating it like an unquestionable fact.

these might sound a little silly, but there’s a psychological idea behind them: creating distance between yourself and your thoughts.

not every thought needs to be believed, challenged, or acted on. sometimes, you can simply notice it and let it pass.

🤍 which one would you actually try?

Sometimes, the hardest part of being hurt by someone you love isn’t just what happened.

It’s what you started believing about yourself afterwards.

That you’re too much. Too difficult to love. That asking for your needs to be met makes you demanding. That someone leaving must mean something is wrong with you.

And sometimes, those beliefs stay with us long after the relationship has ended.

But just because someone made you feel a certain way doesn’t mean it’s the truth about who you are. 🤍

sometimes it’s not one big thing that’s exhausting us.

it’s the hundred little things. the plans, the responsibilities, the decisions, the people we care about, and everything we’re trying to keep up with.

and somewhere in between, we forget that we’re allowed to slow down. not every week needs to be productive. not every moment needs to be spent figuring something out.

sometimes, getting through the week is enough. 🤍

which reminder did you need most this week? by @herewithfujii

i’ve been a little quiet here lately. 🤍

between work, life transitions, and prioritising my own wellbeing, i’ve needed some time to slow down.

being trained in psychotherapy doesn’t make me any less human.

and sometimes, holding space for others means knowing when to hold space for yourself, too.

healing isn’t about never struggling again. it’s about learning to respond to yourself differently.

a little reminder for you, and for me.

which of these 6 signs resonates with you most? 🌷 by @herewithfujii

Sometimes, the role you played in your family becomes the role you unconsciously carry into your relationships.

You learn to keep the peace, take responsibility, anticipate everyone’s needs, or make yourself easier to love.

And somewhere along the way, you may forget that love was never supposed to depend on how much you could do for someone else.

These patterns can be unlearned. 🤍

Which one resonates with you the most? by @herewithfujii

1. Starting over was terrifying. Not because I didn’t love, but because I had built a whole life inside something familiar. Leaving meant choosing uncertainty over comfort, and trusting myself for the first time in a long time.

2. Staying would’ve meant abandoning myself. There’s a quiet kind of loneliness that comes from silencing your needs to keep the peace. I learned that effort isn’t the same as alignment, and love alone can’t replace honesty.

3. I don’t regret the years. I needed every version of us, every attempt, every conversation that went nowhere. I stayed long enough to leave without resentment, and that matters to me.

4. I stayed because I believed in growth. And I still do. But growth also means knowing when something has reached its ending, even if it once held your whole heart.

5. Ending it gave me my energy back. The energy to sit with myself. To ask who I am without roles. To start living instead of enduring.

6. Grief and relief can exist together. I miss what was, while making space for what could be. Both are true. Neither cancels the other.

7. This chapter isn’t about rushing forward. It’s about learning how to live slowly, honestly, and on my own terms, for the first time.

P.S it’s been a while since this chapter ended and I’m in a very different place in my life now 🤍

but I made this during a time when I was still processing everything that came with letting go of such a long relationship. by @herewithfujii

some things can feel “selfish” when you grew up being the one who kept everyone happy.

saying no. changing your mind. disappointing someone. choosing yourself. resting without earning it first.

sometimes the guilt doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong…it just means you’re doing something unfamiliar. 🤍

being “easy to love” sounds like a good thing… until you realise how much of yourself you had to edit to become that person.

maybe you were never actually low maintenance. you just got really good at having needs quietly.

which one felt a little too familiar? 🥲

You spend so much time asking “what will they think?” that eventually you forget to ask “what do I think?”

These are a few questions I come back to when I’m overthinking, looking for reassurance, or struggling to hear my own voice underneath everyone else’s 🤍

You don’t have to answer all 6 today. Pick the one that made you pause.

Save this for the next time you’re stuck in your head and come back to it when you need a little clarity.
