POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m not here to give you perfect advice. I’m here to tell you what actually happened and what each moment taught me.

For the next 30 days, you’ll get the real stories behind some of my biggest lessons. Some are funny. Some still sting. If you’re in your twenties, maybe you’ll skip a mistake or two. If you’re past them, I think you’ll see yourself in a few.

Follow along so you don’t miss a day.

What’s one lesson your twenties taught you? Tell me below. I want to read them. 🙏🏽

I didn’t start out planning to birth the way I did.

I thought I’d have a midwife. That felt like the “natural” option. But I kept researching. And the more I learned about what the body is actually capable of, the more I felt called toward something different.

Birth carries so much fear. I get why. But I also know there’s another side of that conversation and it’s not talked about nearly enough.

That’s what I’m here for 🤍

Fear of birth isn’t something you were born with. It was handed to you by culture, by stories, by a system that forgot to tell you the most important part.

Your body was designed to do this.
That’s not a pep talk. That’s physiology. And once I understood it, everything changed.

This is what I talk about here 🤍

30 Days to 30 | Lesson 22

Try everything!!

Giving yourself the chance to try different things opens up options you might never have thought about otherwise. Use your twenties to find what actually fits you and your goals, instead of picking a path and sticking with it just because, even when it’s making you unhappy.

And be okay with pivoting. It’s alright if something doesn’t work out. It’s better to try it and know it’s not for you than to spend years wondering.

Society makes us feel like we need our lives figured out at 18, but that’s how people end up stuck in something they hate.

Life can be however you want it to be.

You’re allowed to change your mind, your path, and your plan.

What’s something you tried that taught you what you didn’t want? 👇

30 Days to 30 | Lesson 21

Your environment shapes you more than you think, and a big part of that environment is your job.

You get close to your coworkers and start hanging out outside of work. For me, bartending meant late nights, lots of drinking, and spending money I didn’t need to spend.

I always knew I didn’t want to bartend past 25 for that reason. At 23, a move shifted everything for me, and I switched careers.

Once I was out of that environment, I could finally focus on the changes I wanted to make. Reinventing myself got a whole lot easier.

If you want to change your life, change your surroundings.

Has your environment ever held you back, or helped you grow? 👇

40 weeks in VS 40 weeks out 🤪🥹

From this day forward, you will officially have lived outside of my body longer than in.

Up until this point I was your longest home. What an honor. It’s just a reminder of how fast time is fleeting and how quickly you are growing!

I love this journey of life we are on together and I cannot wait for all of our adventures. I pray that we live in the moment of each one.

When I was 40 weeks pregnant I had no idea this is what life would look like 40 weeks later! 😅🤣 Thank you for choosing me as your mom and bringing me all the laughs and fun 🥰

You are my biggest sunshine ☀️ and little love 💙

30 Days to 30 | Lesson 20

I like to believe the best in people. But now I don’t blindly trust, especially when there are red flags.

I gave a “friend” $4,000 so we could turn it into more. Instead, he kept it all for himself.

Honestly, I wasn’t even that mad. Yes, losing the money sucked. But what hurt more was being wrong about someone I trusted. And the part that really got me was how small his thinking was. A quick hit, and then what? I wanted to make repeat money together, and he chose a quick fix instead.

Actions speak louder than words. But you have to look at ALL of someone’s actions, not just the good foot they put forward.

Trust is earned through patterns, not promises.

What’s a red flag you wish you’d listened to sooner? 👇

30 Days to 30 | Lesson 19

Being a beginner at something SUCKS. Nobody tells you how awkward it feels, or how badly you’ll want to quit.

I started showing up online without knowing what I was doing. I just did it anyway. And I’m still figuring it out as I go, learning how to turn it into something that actually supports my family while I stay home with my baby.

I’m not 100% there yet, but I’m getting closer every single day. And the closer I get, the prouder I am that I didn’t wait until I felt ready.

Being a beginner is uncomfortable. But being good at something feels incredible, and you only get there by being bad at it first.

Keep putting yourself outside your comfort zone, because that’s where you grow.

What’s something you’re a beginner at right now? 👇

Just a reminder for myself 😅

It can be hard putting yourself out there. Especially if you aren’t getting the engagement on your posts that you’d like.

There’s this period of time too where it’s embarrassing, but mostly because the people who know you in real life can see you “failing”

But is it really failing though if you’re actually taking the chance? Going through the ride of being cringe is the only way you get better.

So be proud of yourself. Be proud for showing up, for putting a message out there, so that the people who are meant to see you can find you.

30 Days to 30 | Lesson 18

Losing 50 pounds was one of my biggest transformations in my 20s. And yes, it was a big deal (no pun intended 😂).

I weighed less than I did in high school, and it felt amazing. My face looked completely different, and I felt healthier and stronger overall.

The thing that made it work was macro tracking. It was the first time I’d heard “if it fits your macros, you can eat it,” and that gave me so much flexibility that it never once felt like a diet. Bonus: when you prioritize protein, you stay full longer. That was my biggest hack and my biggest win.

The best plan is the one you can actually stick with.

If you have questions about any of it, ask me below. I’m an open book. 👇
