I didn’t start out planning to birth the way I did.

I thought I’d have a midwife. That felt like the “natural” option. But I kept researching. And the more I learned about what the body is actually capable of, the more I felt called toward something different.

Birth carries so much fear. I get why. But I also know there’s another side of that conversation and it’s not talked about nearly enough.
