I’ve always wanted to go to Colombia 🇨🇴✨

At some point, I convinced myself that my time had passed… that maybe I was too late for that dream.

But I’m learning that we all have different timelines. Just because something hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it’s not meant for you. 🤍

Tomorrow, I’m getting on a one-way flight to Bogotá, and I’m giving myself permission to start a new chapter, follow my curiosity, and see where life takes me.

Nobody tells you that one of the hardest parts of moving abroad is deciding what to do with the life you’ve built. 🥹

The clothes, the memories, the little things that feel like *you*. I’m not getting a storage unit or leaving a bunch of things behind. I’m trying to fit my life into a couple of suitcases and learning that starting over means letting go, too.

It’s exciting, overwhelming, bittersweet, and honestly a lot harder than I expected. Here’s to making room for what’s next. 🤎🌎

Leaving the country isn’t just about moving somewhere new.

It means saying goodbye to a life I knew, letting go of things that were comfortable, and choosing the unknown because I believe there’s more waiting for me on the other side.

I’m starting from ground zero and chasing dreams that have been sitting in my heart for a long time.

And for the first time, I’m not waiting until I have it all figured out to take the leap. 🤎

13 days until I leave the country, and start over in South America…✈️

And when I look back at everything that had to happen to get me here, I honestly can’t believe I’m actually doing this.

I sold my car. Let go of so many things. Finished one chapter of my career. Built something of my own. Packed up my life. And made the decision to take a chance on something completely different.

I don’t have every detail figured out. I don’t know exactly what the next few months will look like.

But I do know that I’ve been wanting a different life for a long time.

So… here I go. 🤎

2 weeks away from leaving my home country. I feel like time is ever fleeting, and getting through my check lists to prepare have been intense. I’m very much a Type B, “it’ll all work out” kind of person 😂 Add ADHD and a lifelong habit of procrastinating, and preparing to move to another country has been… interesting.

I have a million things I need to do and less than 3 weeks to do them, but somehow I’ll pull it all together. I always do. 😂

Until then, apparently we’re high-fiving trees and dancing on our walks 🌳

Selling my car. For a person that doesn’t have a “home” a car means a lot. Selling it was hard. It was my freedom - it took me to so many places. But in order to get where I’m going it needed to be sold.
