Take what you need today 🤎

A moment of gratitude. A walk outside. A book to ease your mind. A call to a friend. A place to journal your feelings. Your favourite song. Or simply a safe space to breathe.

There’s no right way to look after yourself. Sometimes, the smallest acts of care can make the biggest difference.

Save this for the days when you need a little reminder: you deserve care, too.

September is Suicide Prevention Month 💜

For survivors of sexual assault, the risk of suicide can be devastatingly high. Research shows survivors can be up to 10x more likely to attempt suicide than those who haven’t experienced sexual violence.

Behind every statistic is a person who has been left carrying something they never should have had to experience.

At HerHaven, we believe survivors deserve somewhere to turn, somewhere to feel understood, and somewhere to find support without judgement.

You are not a burden.
You are not alone.
Your life matters.

📲 Download the HerHaven app for community, mental health support and resources.

Red flags don’t always show up as big scary moments.
Sometimes they’re subtle, confusing, and wrapped up as “jokes” or “care.”

Love and control are not the same thing 🤎

Love respects your boundaries, trusts you, supports your independence, and makes you feel safe. Control monitors you, isolates you, guilt-trips you, and makes you feel like you have to earn basic respect.

The difference can be hard to spot when you’re in it, but healthy love gives you freedom. Control takes it away.
