Winter Sunday Swap and possibly my favourite offerings so far.Elderberry syrup, lip balm and lip scrub, strawberry jam, stock paste, tomato magnet, felt polaroid fridge magnet, lemon cordial, curry powder (by me), 2 different lavender and oat bath salts, vanilla extract, hazelnut slice and simmer pot kit.Basket and heart are so full. 🎞️ Film taken by @sarahlindbergh_photography of our first Sunday Swap 🕊️ There’s something really powerful about women coming together like this!! Using our hands, our time, and our creativity. Not to compete or perfect anything, but simply to share.I love thinking about how normal this once was. For most of history, women were always creating for their families and communities. Baking, sewing, growing, preserving, mending. Creativity moved with the seasons. You might pour yourself into one thing for a while, then gently shift to another, and it didn’t need explaining or justifying. It was simply apart of life.Now, in the modern world, so many of us work, and without even realising it we start to feel like everything we do needs a purpose or a price tag. Like if we’re good at something, we should monetise it. If we enjoy something, we should turn it into more.But gatherings like this remind us of something else. That creating without pressure is deeply healing. That making something just because it brings joy, calm, or connection is enough.Each offering carries someone’s time, intention, and care. We weren’t just swapping things. We were taking little pieces of one another’s creativity with us.Thank you to all the women who showed up, for making something, and for being part of our first Sunday Swap! Jovi boy. You are light and colour. Joy and love. My boy. How blessed I am witness your existence ♥️A moment for Jade. She captured our relationship so perfectly. My darling friend @kinandcoimagery is offering summer sessions like this in Feb and I cant even recommend her enough. I came to the shoot after spending all day in the garden feeling so frazzled and she helped us both feel instantly calm. She’s also super efficient and gets the most incredible shots in such a small window of time. Run don’t walk. You will treasure these photos for eternity!! by @hermoonface
