2024 was a helllll of a year and for a lack of better words, literal hell… But 2025 is the year of HOPE!!! I’ve been told that I’m like a phoenix rising from the ashes and having had a trial and rebirth by fire. That’s what it for sure felt like 😂

But thank God for redemption and return!! I’m soooo pumped for this year and what it holds!!

If you’re wanting to know more of my story I’m always here to talk and if you having a hard time or anythinggggg I’m happy to have coffee or FaceTime because we’re in this together!!!

| HEY You Got This Babes |

Honestly being asked to do a photoshoot showcasing someone’s product, my lifestyle and my mural was huge and made me emotional. As an artist and in general a human, I’m my own worst critique. Not fully calling myself an artist for a long time but instead just saying I painted things. Seeing my work and thinking people won’t like it or that it’s not good enough. It takes a lot of work, especially on a personal level to get to a confidence point. But it’s worth it. It’s mf hard but worth it.
My favorite part of my current journey and with any kind of progression with my business and my art is mainly the people I meet along the way and the opportunities and wild paths it allows me the honor of crossing. Every project is different and comes with its challenges but the greatest thing each project has brought me is people, connections, memories and experiences.
This photoshoot may not seem like a big deal to some but to me it’s wild that I got asked to be showcased in a post for CATfootwear 🤯🥹 What’s more is that it’s connected me to other creatives and to me that’s the greatest gift in the world!! We creatives and small businesses gotta stick together!
So all in all, if there’s something you’ve always been meaning to do or pursue, do it! Follow that dream! Push through and passed all your doubts and the hard shit and bumpy road that will follow! I’m not saying I’ve “made it” by any means because I still struggle to get consistent mural jobs but the main thing is that I’m proud of me. And I’m so thankful for all the people who support me and love me along the way! Keep going babes! We need you ❤️‍🔥🫶🏼

OBSESSED with my latest mural I did!! Drove 4 hours to a super cute @airbnb cabin in Hocking Hills, Ohio to paint this gorgeous mural of Ash Cave which is one of the beautiful destination spots in the stunning Hocking Hills National Parks!!

So honored to be entrusted with projects like this and to get the opportunity to travel and stay in beautiful Airbnb’s all over the place! I love my clients who have a vision and entrust me with their mural projects!

🗣️ IT DOESN’T HAVE TO MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE ELSE!!

If you have something on your heart, if you have dreams, visions, goals, ideas, things that excite and drive you… GO FOR IT!

Don’t get me wrong it’s incredibly hard and difficult to follow your dreams sometimes and can be scary. The unknown is scary! But you know what’s scarier to me? Living this one life I have not following my heart and dreams…

It’s scarier to me, the thought of being in a dead end job that I loathe and sucks my soul but I’m feeding the beast to just blend and survive. Ugh. I never want to “just survive again!” I’ve had too many terrifying times in my life and close calls to not live what’s been coded inside of me. I’ve said this before, I’d rather be broke, struggling and figuring it out how to follow my heart and dreams than to just settle and do something I hate and make “consistent money” and have steady work but yet my soul feels like it’s been sucked out of me.

Our life is so short and we really don’t realize that. We have this literal one life and that’s it! No redos! So I’m gonna spend it failing at what I love, learning, growing, succeeding, TRYING and all in all LIVING!! If I would’ve listened to all the people who didn’t believe in me, I wouldn’t have had these insanely incredible, adventurous, fun opportunities that I’ve had in my life! And it’s only just the beginning!

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve wept and questioned what I’m doing constantly. I literally go months without work sometimes. Weeks on end with nothing and not knowing where the next opportunity might come from and when. It makes me anxious and feel like I’m failing when I’m not busy with work. But the things that are worth fighting for a not easy!!! They’re so hard and difficult but so worth it because the wins and the highs are massive! And I’d rather go through all that instead of living a life not meant for me or being an imposter in my own life and skin.

I wouldn’t be tapping into a long. standing prayer that I’ve prayed for years to be traveling for my mural business! I’m seeing it slowing but surely unfold before my very eyes!! #mural #murals #art #muralart #womeninbusiness taken in Chasing Dreams by @hermurals

| Another Muralist Day |

And another day that goes by without needing to use useless information pertaining to me and having been told I wouldn’t go anywhere if I didn’t know this stuff or have a degree…. I was horrible at math! And the fact that you’re deemed a failure if you’re not good at this stuff and don’t get good grades in school in these categories that you’re not good at… is and has always been so gross to me!!

It’s extremely extremely difficult to go the unconventional route!! Like the world isn’t setup for unconventional to succeed! You’re built to be a part of a very specific system at a young age and if you don’t succeed in this and their system, they make you jump through crazy hoops to be able to succeed at your true self and skills! Artists are almost never praised in school as being a persons that will be successful! It’s the top grades and students who excel in every class that are deemed the successors at life! And then fingers crossed if you’re not book smart but creative instead.

If you’re a creative and not book smart, etc or you don’t excel in school and all the useless(for most people, not all) things we’re taught in school and never use ever again in our life….

I’m here to tell you to not give up and that there’s hope out there outside of the conventional! You CAN still succeed in life if you don’t get the best of grades! You can still succeed in life if you don’t go to college or get a degree(the way we’re all brainwashed to think the only way for success is going in debt to a money making system of college is insane… college isn’t for everyone!) You can still succeed on your own!

It’s just way way harder… the system is built on the “starving artist” narrative and to make you afraid to pursue your dreams because they’ll fail and you’ll starve. Honestly at times that’s true! You’re gonna fail! But the wins are soooo much greater when you achieve them! Fight and battle for those dreams of yours! They’re harder to pursue but soooo much more worth it in the end!

You’ve Got This!!
Fight against the conventional if that’s what draws and you can feel that in you!

| 🟠🟡 Her Murals x High School! 🟡🟠 |

HER MURALS MADE IT TO A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL!
I had the absolute honor and privilege to go speak at Lutheran Westland High School yesterday and present to the art classes all about Murals!!

I got to speak to these students about my background, how I got into muraling, what murals are, the process, the ups and downs, the impact they are to a business, city, home, etc! I got to answer questions during and at the end and to speak to some of the students after who were further interested!! It was such an honor to be able to do this and to be entrusted to speak to these students. It’s so incredible knowing that I have something, knowledge and inspiring that a teacher and a school system would want me to show and teach their students!

I’m so grateful that God continues to heal me, go before me, use me and grow me the way I’ve always dreamt and maybe have never even dreamt!! Never thought I’d be speaking at a school about what I do for living and how unique, cool, exciting, blessed and informative it is!!

Thank you Lutheran Westland HS and Christine for asking me to speak to your students and for treating me to breakfast at your local diner!! You’re the sweetest! 🥹😍
