Warm welcome to the label this time comes to the duo of producers from Netherlands called pH Project. The musical union formed by Pelle and Herra that are both have been doing what they do for many years and played alongside as well many admirable artists which you can find on the archives of the internet if the curiosity will get the best of you. The maestros of the project have provided us with 3 ready to tremor up the speakers cuts with their signature groove and knowledge that they have acquired in the trenches of rave during their activity on the scene. Finalising this 12” vinyl cut is Levat, the producer who doesn’t need introduction as his persona and non-stop dedication for music speaks for itself. Taking non-standard approach of taking stems from all the originals hence the name of the work is “Thritrakk”, combining the elements of all three tracks we have this dark electro monster audio gracing the B2 side. The work of a collaboration of styles and sonically dedicated minds have resulted into this EP “Obvitrip” coming to life for us to enjoy. by @herra_ph

Throwback to a lovely ADE where @herra_ph and me played a set for @themuddshow as pH Project. Here’s a few clips, but you better watch the whole thing loud.

One of the turntables was set up a bit rusty, hence the skip at the 3rd track 🫨. A bit tense here and there but we made it work in the end.

Friday, August 28.

BRET welcomes KILLACUTZ to the red cube. The crew is bringing Gideon Jackson, Eddie Richards, Herra & Richard Parker to take over the booth. There’s a lot of history in this lineup. Evil Eddie Richards has been shaping the UK tech-house sound since day one and is widely regarded as the godfather of the UK tech-house movement. He will be accompanied by a crew of record collectors who have spent years keeping this style of music alive. Expect a long, steady night of that London Underground energy.

The concept Real Audio saw light in 1998 at club RoXY Amsterdam where Richard Parker was a resident dj . 28 August Killacutz and Bret team up for the reintroduction of Real Audio. A night with a nice blend of Techhouse and dirty House grooves ! Real Music, Real fire on the dancefloor. The first edition kicks off with 2 legends from London’s underground scene : Evil Eddie Richards and Gideon Jackson. Herra and Richard Parker will start the night with a B2B set. Real house grooves only.

This weekend we’re joined by the siamese brainchild of Amsterdam based Pelle and Herra – the pH Project!

Individually, the boys have struck deep musical chords, pushing submerged techno, house and breakbeat sonics. Together, with releases on labels like Picnic Records, Mood Waves, Partisan, and Exarde, pH Project is full of taste and fueled by ambition to play with, and be played by, the best in the game.

Saturday, the duo take control of the booth for 5 hours. Routine for them, lucky for us. Join us at the Bar, 9th of May.

In 2021 Hans and I wrote an ep for @picnic_records. At the time we thought it was the best record ever written and after the record sold out we were convinced it was true.

After listening to it many more times we realised that actually, it was far from the best record ever written and we were determined to get back in the studio and write a better one. 5 years later we got ourselves back in the studio and wrote Picnic 013. A combination of both our skill sets and ideas, an EP we are very happy with.

Next Thursday at @phonicarecords will be the 1st of 2 in-store sessions to celebrate the release. There will be exclusive copies available to buy before the official release date on 27/03. Its a free event in the heart of soho at one of Londons best record stores, we’d love to see you there :)
