Beating the heat (and the rest of the field) 🥵

With temperatures still in the high 80s inside Franklin Field, Jackson Spencer puts on an absolute clinic to win yet another national title, taking the #NBNO 5000m crown in 14:08.02.

The Mazzeo twins of Lower Merion AC, Nick and Alexander, finished 2-3, with Nick coming in 19 seconds behind Spencer.

Even with a fistful of national title rings, @jackson.spencer207 stays hungry 😤

The reigning New Balance Nationals Indoor 5000m champion will be looking to close out an all-time high school career this weekend in Philadelphia at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Spencer sat down with CITIUS MAG last month to reflect on his season so far and give insights on his big goals for his final races in a Herriman uniform.

Chasing after something even faster 👀

Jackson Spencer is pleased with his meet record and fifth-fastest high school mile time of 3:57.24 at the HOKA Festival of Miles, but is that ceiling for him this season?

Alan Webb’s 3:53.43, the high school record, has Spencer thinking it’s possible to go after given the right conditions and field.

If he’s done it once, he can do it again 🔁

Jackson Spencer is the only prep this 2026 outdoor season to have run a sub-4-minute mile, running 3:58.17 in Portland back in April.

The Herriman UT senior will be bringing his US#1 time to St. Louis this weekend for HOKA Festival of Miles, where he will aim to add another milestone victory to his historic senior resume.

🎥Check out what else Jackson had to say leading up to this race in another DyeStat Shorts at DyeStat.com.

Kirk Cousins is shouting somewhere, “YOU LIKE THAT!?”

Always billed as THE premiere 3200m, Jackson Spencer turned Saturday night’s Arcadia race into an all-time classic with his 8:31.80 NFHS record, one that folks will be talking about for a long time.
