The most special person in my life deserved to have a story that she’d never forget, a story that we could talk, laugh, and cry about with each other as well as our loved ones. Our paths crossed 7 years ago, and have been intertwined ever since. I love her with all of my heart and soon she’ll be Mrs. Herroz. We started out 2025 with one goal in mind and that was to leave southern california and make a new home in the pacific northwest. We achieved that and since then we’ve been on a high that hasn’t left and probably won’t leave for many years to come. A special shoutout to everyone that helped us move, encouraged us to chase our big goal, and the ones that made us feel welcome in our new home. I feel so grateful to be able to have made a new home in a city i don’t know and I’m even more grateful to share this experience with my partner Jen and our baby girl Bambi, they make life so much brighter, and inspire me to be a better version of myself daily. by @herroz.x

The last time i took my camera out with the intention of creating a good photograph was at least five years ago. Between the pandemic and my personal life my creative drive came to a halt and I had no desire to make anything because i thought i had nothing worthwhile to share. The idea of selling my camera always creeped its way into my head and I’m really happy i never followed through with any of these ideas. Before moving states i made a promise to myself that i would slowly try to disconnect myself from the online world and just focus on being more present and using any spare time i had to do the stuff that i love and continue being creative.

6 years ago today Jennifer flew across the country so that we could meet in person and hang out after months of facetiming, texting, and talking on the phone. I asked her to be my girlfriend that day and since then we’ve gone through so many life changes but the one constant has been our dedication and love for each other. I’m grateful for her and everything she does for me. I’m always proud of her and I want to see her thrive in this life we share together. I love you Jen never stop being you 💕 by @herroz.x
