We've got some exciting news to share! . . @hershdesign has joined Dennis Miller New York. Based in Berkeley, it's the work of Cliff Hersh and a small team who make lighting the hard way. By hand, out of molten glass and cast metal, through processes that are ambitious and occasionally a little dangerous. Nothing here comes off a production line. A favorite of ours is the Skylon, swipe to see it. Molten glass gets spun-cast into a cylinder of flowing ribbons, then edge-lit with a ring of LED. The bubbles and flow lines come out differently in every casting, so no two are ever quite the same. It runs from 16 to 45 inches, round or oval, pendant or surface mount, and there's even a cordless version. That's just one of them. Every piece is part sculpture, part light, and entirely its own object. Come see them in the showroom, or explore the full collection on our site (link in bio). taken in New York Design Center by @hershdesign
