It can’t be explained. Since childhood I’ve had this fascination with the dark sky and watching silhouettes of the trees dance against a canvas of the starry sky. My curiosity led me to becoming an amateur astronomer, learning about the night sky, the constellations, learning how diy telescopes are made, and in all those countless nights spent in the middle of the field, not sleeping for days in a row; I realized I wasn’t just really gazing outside, far away, but also deep within. To me, the stars aren’t billions of light years away, theyre right here.
and what are mosquitoes and insects and cold winds in front of the lights of the universe? Every chance I get, I sneak out!

Sleep is overrated tbh. How can I sleep when the Milky Way galaxy, our home, shines like that? I’ve been chasing the night sky ever since I was a child and I still can’t get enough. I only got 3 hours sleep last weekend camping in Northern Ontario, we couldn’t help but sit and stare 🥹✨ Gaze at our home in the infinite sea of stars

48 hours without screens and schedules. Just the hum of the wind through the pines, the warmth of a campfire, and the luxury of being in the wilderness. Somewhere on the Canadian Shield, resting on rocks that have stood for over a billion years and lakes formed as remnants of ancient glaciers, you realize how small your worries are against the backdrop of Mother Nature. I can’t explain the feeling, but I see myself getting out here again and again ❤️🏕️
