Aria - you’re 2! 🎈

You’re curious. You’re playful. You’re intelligent. You’re cautious. You observe and narrate everything you see. You love to sing your favourite nursery rhymes and play hide and seek by telling us where to hide. You ask for the Happy Birthday song on repeat. You love your blankie just as much as you love fruits and noodles and tomatoes and corn. You obsess over anything on Old McDonald’s farm, and also birds and squirrels. And dogs, unless they get too close.

Your presence lights up everyone’s world, and I’m so lucky I get to experience it each and every day. You are the most fabulous 2 year old and I can’t wait to see what this new year will bring for you. Happy (belated) birthday my sweet girl 🥳 by @hersimplesole

Stuck in traffic on our way to pick up my husband - nothing about this moment was picture perfect. As a content creator who used to curate almost every video I posted - this one feels different. A little uncomfortable, actually.

But I’m learning that these unplanned and unglam moments are somehow my favourite parts of motherhood that I want to share.

What’s a phrase your toddler won’t stop repeating lately? My girl is constantly singing her favourite nursery rhymes and it warms my heart 💕 by @hersimplesole
