congratulations to @chloejenkins.21 on winning her VERY FIRST high school state title with the #OntarioChristian Lady Knights, as a FRESHMAN and being ranked the #1 high school girls basketball team in the NATION!!! you guys… let me tell you God’s blessings this year have been PROFOUND!!!yesterday evening, i was invited to take part in @nikela’s #LatinoHeritageMonth celebration at their HQ. this was truly one of my dream goals and experiences! the invitation included being able to share my small business and what i represent, in the spirit of comm(unity)! the love came tenfold and the connections were heartfelt. this wouldn’t have been possible without @melydarling & @xocruzita . a short story time:in 2020, during the pandemic, i was putting together small care packages to send my friends, locally and on the east coast… you know just to spread some love during such an unprecedented time.but more than anything the intention was to make them feel good. this is when my gem socks became a “thing”. many of my friends absolutely adored them and received countless compliments… which only resulted in them encouraging me to share my creations with others by starting a business. i was (very) apprehensive for a while but after deciding to bet on myself and exactly what i wanted my “WHY” to be as i moved forward with it… HER SNEAKERS HER WAY was made a reality. i can proudly say that from then until now… my values of community and action done wit intention have carried me to this point. they remain at the forefront of everything, which has allowed me to grow, experience unforgettable moments and make meaningful connections. continue to support your friends. cheer them on loudly. i am blessed to have friends who have and continue to do that for me. my heart is filled with gratitude for countless reasons. by @hersneakersherway
