The point of this video/trend was to show myself that I’m doing great for where I’m at, that a younger me would have never imagined being here and that I’m so grateful. Of course when you start doing something new you’re going to be compelled to compare yourself but don’t! 9 months ago, in January I would not have even thought I’d be where I’m at right now and it never fails to blow my mind. I’m not saying that nobody buys my work - plenty do and I’m grateful for that as well. Enjoy Instagram and the trends for what they are! 😭 I sound sooo stuffy..everyone say “Thank you allergy season!” Aside from fighting to breathe out of both notstrils, I really am grateful to have found tufting and embroidery and all of you to share my journey with. Thank you for being so supportive, for all of your dms and the advice that you’ve passed along, and for believing in me as well! 🤍 the last 8 months have been full of growth and I know the final 4 will be full of so much more. Took the sewing machine out last night 🙂‍↕️ still got it if I do say so myself!

I genuinely thought I broke it at one point, stopped to pray over my machine many times, poked myself countless times with my pins, almost took my fingers off more than once, and the foot pedal had me sweating 😭 I missed sewing
