Happy 1st Birthday, HerTone. 🤎 One year. And when I look back, I don’t just see a business. I see every version of myself I had to become to build it. Starting something from the ground up is not easy. There are beautiful moments, but there are also moments that test you. Moments when you question yourself. Moments when things don’t go according to plan. You lose people you thought would be there for the entire journey. You hear “no.” You make mistakes. You learn. You pivot. And sometimes, you have to keep going even when you have no idea what the next step looks like. But somewhere along the way, you realize something: I CAN DO HARD THINGS! You learn that every “no” isn’t rejection,sometimes it simply means not right now. You learn that losing people can make room for finding yourself. You learn to trust your own voice, your own vision and your own ability to figure it out. And most importantly, you grow. HerTone was created from a love for hair, but it was never meant to be just about hair. I created HerTone to encourage women. To remind women that looking good can be part of feeling good. To create something that celebrates every woman, every shade, every story and every version of who she is becoming. I want the woman wearing HerTone to walk a little taller. To feel beautiful. To feel confident. To feel seen. But above all, I want her to know that she is already enough. Not when she loses the weight. Not when she gets the job. Not when the relationship comes. Not when she reaches the next level. Right now. As she is. She is enough. This first year has stretched me, humbled me, challenged me and grown me in ways I never expected. And somehow, through all of it, the dream only got bigger. So today I’m not only celebrating HerTone. I’m celebrating the courage it took to start. The strength it took to keep going. The lessons hidden inside every “no.” The people who believed in this vision. The women who have supported this brand. And the woman I’ve become while building it. One year down and we’re still becoming! Because every women has a story. Every destination tells a story. THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING by @hertonecollection
