Droppin’ the needle on a classic.
Janet Jackson’s “What Have You Done for Me Lately” hit the streets in 1986 and changed the game — her first top 10, choreo by a young Paula Abdul, and the birth of the Control era.

Fun fact? This was the last song recorded for the album and it wasn’t even meant for her at first. She snatched it — and made it a movement.

There’s nothing like hearing this on vinyl — the crackle, the soul, the realness.

There’s nothing like dropping the needle on real wax.
Today I’m playing one of my favorites — Smooth Operator off Sade’s “Diamond Life” vinyl.

The grit, the warmth, the nostalgia… it just hits different when it’s not digital.
You can literally feel the music breathing.

I’m officially bringing y’all into one of my favorite spaces —
