Hit-and-run survivor: Moyo’s story — living with FND 🩵💙🙏🏾💚

This month on Her Voice, Her Strength we’re shining light on stories that often go unheard.
Moyo @moyomama was on her way to choir practice when a car hit her in a hit-and-run. She woke up three days later, unable to move and doctors didn’t believe her. She was later diagnosed with FND (functional neurological disorder).
.
Her courage reminded me how often people living with disability are dismissed or misunderstood.
I know that feeling being ghosted, overlooked, or treated differently when I mention my own disability and being one-breasted after surgery.
.
These conversations matter because silence helps no one. comment 🩷 if you stand for visibility, compassion, and real representation.
