Today marks the 10 year anniversary. Wow it has been 10 years since God decided it was your time. I want to write about how I am glad that you are in a better place and everything happens for a reason and how I am content with that, but that would be a complete lie. 10 years without you and you weren’t able to be there for all of the milestones I have gone through, the milestones a daughter should go through with their mom starting from liking my first boy to being there for my highschool graduation. There are so many things that I with I could’ve said to you, so many conversations I wish we could’ve had. Everyday goes by and I simply wish I could tell you about everything that has happened to me, the ups and the downs I have went through. They say with time everything gets better, but yet I still feel the same pain from the day you were taken from me. I always ask myself why me. Why was I that girl that God chose to take their mother, their flesh and blood; the person I am supposed to go to for anything and everything. The pain of not having you with me is so unbearable, but everyday I fight to stay strong and keep a smile on my face and be the happy, cheery, enthusiastic herva that everyone knows and love. But overall I keep that smile on my face for you because i know that smile is what you look down on me to see. I love you mommy and I will never stop loving you. Thank you for always looking down on me and just guiding me towards the right path.
