Today, we celebrate @ZilianWax and the woman whose vision continues to bring this community together, Nita Michelle. Located in Largo, Maryland, in the heart of the DMV, Zilian Wax has become a welcoming space for hundreds of women who trust Nita’s signature approach to intimate waxing. She prides herself on creating a comfortable experience that keeps clients coming back. Inside her studio, conversations go beyond skincare. Clients find a listening ear, a familiar face, and a space where they feel cared for and confident. For Nita, “more than a wax” is a promise she brings to life. She has hosted client events and appeared on a billboard in New York City. Rather than making that moment about herself, she chose to spotlight the women who support her movement and have helped her business grow. As that community expanded, Nita recognized that her vision needed more than her two hands. She welcomed a team member and committed to investing in her growth, sharing her knowledge and supporting her development into a confident beauty professional. With bigger client celebrations and opportunities to give back planned for 2027, Nita continues to lead with care, strive for excellence, and pour into the people behind every milestone. Today, we honor her work, her growth, and the community she’s building. Her story is still unfolding and she’s excited to see where this next chapter takes her. #DMVWAXING #DMVBRAZILIANWAX #DMVBEAUTYBUSINESS #DMVBUSINESS #DMVWAXSTUDIO by @herwaxlife

WE ARE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT💛 • When Candace @sevenfigurespachick and I first started talking about Power Players Wellness Day, we shared one vision… • To create a space where beauty professionals could step away from the day-to-day of running their businesses and spend an afternoon reconnecting with themselves, building meaningful relationships, and being surrounded by women who understand the journey. 🥰 • Candace, a business mentor from Atlanta. Me, a beauty business owner from Virginia. Neither of us lives in Washington, D.C. Yet somehow, our shared passion for serving this industry brought us together to create something right in the heart of the DMV. ❤️ • Today, we’re incredibly proud to say… Power Players Wellness Day is officially SOLD OUT. • This event has always been about something bigger than one afternoon. It’s about building community. Creating opportunities. Celebrating excellence. And reminding beauty professionals that they deserve spaces that pour back into them. • We’re so grateful for everyone who’s trusted us with this vision, and we can’t wait to welcome you to an unforgettable experience this Saturday. • See you soon, Power Players. 💛 💛 Dress Code: Shades of yellow, butter, honey, gold, & champagne. Let’s fill the room with warm, elevated tones. • 📍 Foundry Gallery, DC 📅 Saturday, July 25, 2026 ⏰ 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM • • • #dmvbeautyprofessional #dmvesthetician #dmvwellness #womansupportingwoman #womanentrepreneur dmvbeautypros dmvnetworking dmvwellness dmvbeauty by @herwaxlife
We’re honored to be highlighted by Strength N Strides Mental Health Services as a wellness resource on their website! At Zilian Wax, we believe wellness also lives in the small moments where women get to feel cared for, comfortable, confident, and completely themselves. Our studio is more than a place to get hair-free ….it’s a space where women can let their hair down, feel embraced, be supported without judgment, and leave feeling lighter, smoother, and more confident in their skin. Thank you, Strength N Strides, for including us in a space that reminds women that self-care, confidence, and emotional wellness all matter! Here’s to more spaces where women feel seen, supported, and good from the inside out. 🤍 - - - #dmvbrazilianwaxing #StrengthNStrides #WellnessResource #dmvwax #DMVWaxing WomenWellness by @herwaxlife
