It was an honor to speak to Guillermo this day. He told us he wasn’t registered to vote and didn’t have any plans to. I don’t blame him- it’s hard to have hope for a system that isn’t designed to work for us.

But that’s exactly why we need to vote. We have the ability to bring people in who want to advocate for real change. @angela4congress is someone who wants to fight for the working class and has the receipts to prove it.

Anyway, by the end of our chat- he said he’d vote. And that’s a W 😎

SAME DAY REGISTRATION IS ABSOLUTELY AN OPTION!!!! Polls close at tomorrow Nov 3rd at 8 pm by @hesterjeanlee

CD 34- go do yourselves a favor and vote for Angela. She is a candidate who is fighting for working families. @angela4congress wants affordable housing, everyone to have health insurance, and between you’re two choices- Angela isn’t the one under investigation for “ethics misconduct.” 🫠

But overall, she’s an amazing person. And so easy to chat with! You feel more energized next to her because her authenticity is so rare and rejuvenating. You know what I mean? She also insisted that we split this buyout.

Also canvassing with @aaron_frazer - I just. I can’t walk you through the lore right now but the most important takeaway is that we had @durandjonesandtheindications on our wedding playlist. Ok????? Ok.

my video yesterday has made it to the “right” side of TikTok and tbh it’s so funnyyyyyy lolol. People are just soooo ready to get their pitchforks out for you. “Boba libtard” is kind of cute though :3

But here’s the thing; I want a better LA for everyone. Not just left or right. If a candidate doesn’t live up to their promises, this doesn’t mean we just shrug our shoulders and say, “o well.” We hold them accountable.

Anywho, VOTE! Nov 3rd at 8 pm is when voting closes!!!!

Please get out and vote. Idk how to emphasize that people have fought with their lives for this right.

I want a better and transparent LA. I want money out of corporate pockets and into programs for our people. I want streets to be safer and I want real solutions for the houseless community. I want small businesses to thrive. And as an actor, I want policy that will support gigs to stay in LA. If this is you too- I highly recommend voting for @nithyaforthecity

Polling booths close on November 3rd at 8pm!!!!! by @hesterjeanlee

I’m voting for @nithyaforthecity because she has made a commitment to protect LA and the people that are in it.

Over the last year, families have been ripped apart. Folks are fearing to go outside in order to make ends meet. And our immigrant communities are terrified and there has been little to no recourse from our current mayor. (Very disappointed to see specific immigrant rights groups endorsing her but it is what it is i guess)

Please for the love of god- VOTE!! November 3rd 8 pm is when polling places will close. Please please pleaseeeee. by @hesterjeanlee

And that’s Elysian Park.

Shoutout to everyone who pulled up that day but especially to Deborah and that last couple. With both, I had amazing conversations about what it means to be present and engage in community in our own ways. It’s always heartwarming to hear different versions of taking care of the circles around you. Makes you feel less alone.

See you at the next one :3
