This might have been the most kid friendly wedding day of all time. Bubbles, hot chips, plenty of grass to run around in, and ending the post ceremony playlist with some Danny Go.

As a parent myself, I love weddings with lots of littlies, kids are just the best and always bring their honest, unfiltered selves to events. And who doesn’t love a bit of lightness?!

This was a Love & Local wedding organised with and photographed by @allmywednesdays. That means that Carol & James let us organise the vast majority of it for them.

@holmeshallbar was our reception venue in walking distance of Queens Park where we tied the knot. @champagne.electric absolutely nailed the stunning flowers, @good.good.cake made a beautiful and delicious cake and I took care of the ceremony and reception formalities.

It was relaxed, easygoing, filled with love, and all in their local neighbourhood!

And Carol and James breezed through it with the ease of the coolest mum and dad in the world.

I enjoyed in James’ sister’s speech where she said James’ couldn’t have done any better for himself than marrying this neuroscientist Brazilian bombshell who was also lovely and Carol’s friends from Brazil sent in a letter for me to read where they said James had surpassed Hugh Jackman as their favourite Aussie.

So truly everyone was thrilled.

Rachael & Liam are just as sweet as pie. They are such a great personality match. Rachael exudes energy and joy and excitement and Liam is so calm, grounded and supportive.

They got married at Rye at Tallis, a beautiful winery where Rachael actually worked in her youth. It’s a fair drive from the city but when you get there and see it, well yeah, I absolutely get the appeal!
(The team there are also incredibly kind and lovely just fyi)

This was a really personal day filled with personal touches. The vows they wrote for each other were pure poetry. So thoughtful and beautiful and Rachael even asked her friend @rose_bassett_music to play and sing in the ceremony and it was extra special - and Rose is so talented!

I loved being part of this lovely day with lovely, lovely people!

It’s me, your friendly neighbourhood celebrant.

Doing something I don’t often do - publicly manifesting some dreams. I’ve got some interstate weddings coming up, and I’d love to double them up with EVEN MORE HAPPY LOVE GOOD TIMES. Fun and awesome and also cutting down on travel costs for everyone! 🥰🥰

What can I say about Annabel & Stephen other than that I adore them?!

Oh probably lots! I got to stick around for the party (in work speak - MC the reception) on this glorious Friday evening but it didn’t even feel the slightest bit like work.

Annabel and Steve welcomed me so kindly, and sat me with Annabel’s super cool cousins and I genuinely felt like I got to meet so many amazing people and make lots of new friends.

And Annabel and Steve just floated through the evening with their usual elegance and gorgeous stunningness (Annabel ate the photos up too. My goodness!!!!) and it felt so wonderful to see them in their element, being loved and celebrated.

Plus Annabel and Stephen have great taste in music! Dance floor playlist was diverse and diverting!

Marley & Brad somehow got married on May’s rainiest day, but it didn’t dampen their spirits.

And honestly I’m not really sure anything could. These two are real adventurers - like really, they have done it all my goodness.

I love that they dream and travel big and yet decided to go really small and intimate for their wedding. There are no rules, and I absolutely love to see couples do what’s right for them and celebrate in the way that makes them feel happy!

@allmywednesdays on the cameras again, absolute legend!

A perfect autumn wedding in the hills of Dookie 🥹🤍 Rachael & Liam’s wedding was full of heart, with so many nostalgic connections, especially for Rachael who grew up in this beautiful area of our state.

With Rye at Tallis Wines being their backdrop, their guests got to enjoy the best of our country landscape while they celebrated this wholesome couple becoming husband and wife. Daphne their dog was easily the sweetest addition to their day and was the most well behaved ring bearer ever!

It was such a pleasure to show off all the beautiful energy these two and their guests shared! 🥹🤍

Yay! It’s August, and weddings are back.
I can’t bloody wait to be back bathing in the honour of being part of one of the most wonderful days in the lives of the gorgeous, wonderful people who let me in.

Road trips, holding hands, sharing joy, outfits that match your flower arrangements… yay! It’s all coming back 🥰

Community. This day was all about community and shared experiences. I had the pleasure of marrying these beautiful, beautiful people in 2025 and honestly when they asked me if I could do another ceremony for them to share with their people I was thrilled, what an absolute honour.

These two are so thoughtful and intentional- and this day was just that. Games run by a family friend to get people chatting, mates serving local ice cream in matching aprons, a super cool live band, and some of the best and most generous wedding food I’ve ever eaten!

Oh and the basketball court reception room has my whole heart!

Plus so so so much love.

And my work wife @allmywednesdays, whose talent I got to admire all day!
