@nmdchyderabadmarathon you were awesome !!!
A great comback for me.... Ran a full marathon after four and half years...
Ran slow, a bit shaken, not so confident, was surely not prepared for this race... with a couple 30 kms of long runs...

A city not known to me, i woke up jittery at 3:15 a.m. got ready and left for the venue...... while walking to the start line there were thoughts crossing my mind of not starting the race, but braced and went to corral A, no familiar faces, i took a slow start....

Started from Peoples Plaza and did a loop of the Hussain Sagar Lake which covered around 9 kms... I felt good... and thought I still have a change to finish the race today.... and went ahead with some confidence... but my confidence was behaving like the flyovers that I was running... high and low....

From the 10th km onwrds started Raj Bhavan Road, Punjagutta, Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills.... these just shook my confidence and tested my patience and endurance.... I was walking and jogging by now....

And then the mind, the body and the heart started debating...
The mind said this is too tough... ( but doable)
The legs said too tired ( but will go on )
The heart whispered... ( one step at a time )

Soon I was walking/jogging at the Cable Bridge.... and then came the Gachibowli flyover.... from there, it was an undulated University Route.... seemed never-ending.... but yes, by now I had become resilient.....

When I did the last leg of the run and entered the Stadium.... With a tired smile on my face, I said to myself.... let's come back to Hyderabad again for another Marathon....
