Chapter 6: Just June
June, aka halfway through 2026 so let’s recap Just June

1: 🥊
A year ago I was diagnosed with a double hernia (at L4/L5 & L5/S1). One year later, after a lot of blood, sweat, and training (and help from amazing people), the time finally came: I could (kick)box again. Man, I missed this.

The last photo is dedicated to Vondelgym Rotterdam. Someone told me it feels like we all just graduated high school and are now going our own separate ways, which is a weird feeling. This was such a unique place, and I don’t think anything like it will ever come again. A truly special place. A real community: a place where everyone is welcome, where you can train hard, learn a lot, and laugh a lot; all together.

Thanks to all the members, thanks to all the trainers. I’m grateful that I can call many of you my friends, and I’m glad I’ll still be seeing a lot of you. Thank you ❤️🤝 by @hetisbastaard
