SUAS Operators Course

What a time, honestly couldn’t have had a better mix of backgrounds in one class. The diversity of MOS’s did a lot to open my eyes to the multitude of possibilities to employ the systems we were using and take full advantage of the aircraft for all its potential. And they even got to get a taste of the infantry life….. though I’m not sure how many of them enjoyed that part.

In a conversation I was having with a friend today, something that you always hear in the army, but put in the back of your head really rang true. What you put in is what you get out of it. In an organization like the army, a lot of opportunities can be thrown at you when you show yourself as having true potential, skill, and the ability to use the opportunity to help those around you. So if you find yourself in those spots, take them, you never know the knowledge you’ll gain, the connections you make, or the friends you meet along the way.

To Class 26-004 and our instructors, thank you for the experiences, training, laughs, and insights.

To my chain of command, I am forever grateful for the opportunities you provide me to become a better soldier, and gain real world knowledge and experience to bring back and make us a more lethal, adaptable, fighting force. And I look forward to doing more if the opportunities are continued to be afforded to me.

To Harry, if you see this, hopefully we run into each other down the line someday, even if it’s in a Coast Guard gym.

Logan Duffy 2026

Being able to be part of a time honored tradition of competitive marksmanship between debatably the two oldest units still actively operating in the United States Army was more than I could have ever expected, let alone doing it at THE United States Military Academy at West Point. The team was rock solid and full of talent and experience and the support from command was more than we could have ever asked for. And it shows, because we are bringing that beautiful cup rightfully home to where it belongs!

The only thing I will ask, is to do it again!

TAG Match this past weekend. Sweat, brass, lead and some cool dudes….. if you like dudes. Team Americal got some tabs, I didn’t make the cut this year, but I’m definitely getting back when I can. Good shooting SGT Field and SPC Thomlinson. Hope me and Brack run into you down the line somewhere. Beers and a quick Phalanx run on me 🫡 by @heui_lewis

Small Progress post on project calypso daily:
•Trans went on the way to work one morning
•Rebuilt/Slightly upgraded unit installed
•Transfer case was slightly dicked but Freddy fingers got it together
•Front driveshaft was a bit funky, but that is being sorted
•Hydra installed
•Pesky headlight switch fixed (🙄)
•New exhaust, turbo back
•Plow and camper mounts removed
•6.0 trans cooler installed
Now she's strapped to the dyno and ready to break everything in tomorrow and put a few miles on the transmission to make sure everything is good, line pressure builds and holds, and there are no leaks. Fast Freddy at @dieselshopct
really helped me out on this one and is over here putting in the hours to keep everyone on the road. If you need any work done, parts sold to, or have any questions about how we can help you; please feel free to reach out, and let us know. (860) 437-1235 or DM me or the shop
