A little rebrand was brewing… 🔮✨

cajsasbooknook → HEXED READS 🖤📚

Don’t get confused if you see a new name popping up —> It’s still me, just with a new little bookish identity.

Same dark romances, same fantasy worlds, same morally grey men I absolutely should not be defending… just a new name. 😂

Welcome to HEXED READS 🕯️🔮
Here’s to a new chapter. 🖤📖 by @hexedreads

A little late, but here we go… September Reading Wrap-Up 📚🖤

7 books, a little bit of everything, and one very clear favorite 💗

September gave me some fun reads, a few surprises, and of course Pink Ink taking the 5⭐️ spot 🩷

Now it’s officially October, so bring on the autumn reads 🍂📖

I ordered the remaining three books, which means there is officially no escape now.

Three books. Back to back.
LET’S GO.

PINK INK 🩷🖤

Okay but… STUDENT X PROFESSOR / SERIAL KILLER???
Avina St. Graves, you knew exactly what you were doing with this one. 👀

I went into this knowing I’d probably like it, but somehow I ended up sitting there like ohhhh I’m REALLY into this 😭

The chemistry??? The tension??? The situations???
Yeah. This was GOOD.

And honestly, there’s just something about Avina’s books that works for me. She drops me into the story and suddenly I’m way too invested in fictional people doing absolutely questionable things. 😂

Also… that professor.
That’s it.

Easy 5⭐️ for me.
Would absolutely read another Avina book without even checking the synopsis first. 🖤

Have you read Pink Ink yet? 👀

LOOK AT THIS BOOKMAIL THAT ARRIVED YESTERDAY?! 📦📚
Because apparently I needed a little collection of holiday-themed novellas. One for basically every occasion. 🍀💘🐰🎃🎄
And honestly? I’m VERY okay with this.

Then there’s Sinister by Veronica Lancet because obviously I needed something dark and creepy to add to the pile. 🩸🌙

AND FINALLY… An Arcane Education by Lyla Andrews.
A dark academia read??? Say less. 🖤🏛️📖

So this package is basically a perfect little mix of holiday chaos, romance, monsters, darkness & dark academia and I am absolutely obsessed with it. 😭🥰

FINALLY picking up Pink Ink and I genuinely CANNOT WAIT 💗

This has been sitting there waiting for me and I’m finally diving in… and then I opened the trigger warnings and….
DAMN. 😭

Nut allergy but make it romantic?? An unadvised paintbrush?? Serial killers??
HELLO????? 💀

Anyway, time to find out what I’ve gotten myself into. 💗

And FYI, as I’m writing this, a book package is literally on its way to me. AAAAAH. 📦😭💗
Yep, I’m staying up until that package gets here!!!!! Exactly what I needed after the start of this work weekend. 🥹📚✨ by @hexedreads

A very pretty book mail 🖤📚✨

Finally got the rest of my unfinished series:
God of Ruin, God of Fury & God of War and the remaining books in Lauren Biel’s Slaycation series, Ship Happens & Slaughter Park.

AND THEN THERE’S PINK INK. 💗
A new book by one of my favourite authors, which obviously had to come home with me too.

And yes… I KNOW the fifth Slaycation book literally just came out. 😂 Of course I had already placed this order before I realised there was another book. Sooo… that one gets to come home with me on the next book-buying round. 🤷‍♀️

But for now… look at this lineup.
The colours, the sprayed edges, the pink… I’m obsessed. 😭🖤💗💙💛 by @hexedreads

SHELFIE SUNDAY 🖤🧡

If you somehow missed it, I did a full-on reorganization of my books AND moved around my bookshelves… and then somehow never showed you guys the final result. 🫠

And THEN it hit me that I’ve literally never properly shown my bookshelves here on Instagram???

Whaaaat?! 😭
So I guess it’s finally time for a little #shelfiesunday 🖤📚✨ by @hexedreads

Couldn’t decide what to read, so I asked my bestie @bookedandcursed to pick for me. She said, “Take book #27 from the shelf.”

Yup… Hell Gate by Veronica Eden it is. 🖤📖

Let’s see what I’m getting myself into… 👀 by @hexedreads
