💥 $1200 RAISED FOR @sherelemoodyfemicidewatch 💥Now we’ve wrapped up all the post event admin, we are so excited to share that thanks to everyone’s insane efforts on the day, we were able to more than double last years donations target! Thankyou to every single person who bought a ticket, who came to join the conversation, to make a stand in this never ending war against of violence against women. We hope you loved our genre and gender diverse artists lineup, our incredible local femme stallholders and if you hadn’t heard of her before, learnt more about the vital work @sherelemoodyfemicidewatch does. 💥💥 SHERELE MOODY 💥💥Leading the fight against femicide in Australia, @sherelemoodyfemicidewatch a journalist, violence survivor, activist, feminist, founder of Australian Femicide Watch and THE RED HEART MOVEMENT has brought to the forefront the epidemic of violence against women and children. She has given voices to women whose lives were stolen from them and was the spark that ignited the conversation Australia desperately needed. It is beyond an honour that Sherele will be joining us for this years Siren Sounds, where not only will she be delivering what will be an unforgettable speech, she will also have a stall throughout the day where you will be able to meet her as well as purchase her merch which all goes directly to her vital work.Last years Siren Sounds we were able to raise $500 for THE RED HEART MOVEMENT and we are aiming to double that this year. A portion of proceeds from the event ticket sales will be donated, as well as we will be having a monster charity raffle (with some epic prizes donated by our incredible stallholders) where 100% of those ticket sales will be donated. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the day. Come join the fight against femicide this Saturday, and every day after that 💪 by @hexevents.au

🗡️🗡️ IDENTITY ERROR 🗡️🗡️@identityerror613 is a new wave of heavy music hailing from Naarm. Formed in 2022, Identity Error blends a mix of hardcore and metalcore influences fuelled by blistering riffs, pummelling rhythms and cathartic vocals. Sage is a direct product of the current state of the world. 🌸 GRASS STAINS 🌸After serving over 200 years in the Office of Kirby in Pupupu, Grass Stains immigrated to Naarm/Melbourne to write songs about impulsive decisions, passive aggressive workplaces, and out-growing stale friendships. Grass Stains debut EP Safe Haven hit the ground running, earning spots on Triple J’s Short Fast Loud, Home & Hosed, and unearthed rotations, as well as playlists by Domestic La La and Our Golden Friends. They have shared stages with the likes of Press Club, Loser, VOIID, and many more. 🌈 SUNNY BONEZ 🌈We have the one, the only @djsunnybonez kicking off Siren Sounds to get the party started before the bands this Saturday! Sunny has done more for the community than we can fit in this lil bio. The master curator behind @bonezqueerparty truly one of the most iconic events in queer and alternative spaces in Naarm, they have been a true inspiration not only for Siren Sounds, but multiple events that have emerged in this space.They will be spinning all the classics out in the beer garden from 2:30pm until we kick off our bands lineup, be sure to give so much love to this sunshine in human form ☀️(Yes we’re having a party BEFORE the bands because we all love a sunshine bev + majority of us are old and tired who enjoy reasonable bedtimes) xx by @hexevents.au
