Haven’t posted any Lego Models here in a while so I figure I’d share one that is small but cool.Decided to try my own shot at making the little Pyramid from Hell himself, Bill Cipher.Though nowadays I think Vecna is like him but 10 times more badass and epic. Told you I was going to make another Lego model of a lesser-known but cool spaceship. Anyone here remember this game, or the ship from it?For those of you who aren’t familiar, this is the player ship, Endymion FRS MKII, which comes from this old Square Enix Ship fighter video game for the PS1, Einhander. Sadly, it’s one of their titles that hardly anyone remembers. I guess for ship fighter games, you have to be incredibly good to not fall into obscurity in such an oversaturated genre of video games. I was originally going to make this model a lot bigger, large enough to hold a Minifig inside, but I decided not to and just went with this scale. Hey, Bricks cost money. The back guns are actually Stud Shooters so they really fire, and the wings and neck move thanks to joint parts and clip parts. The arm has part of a Hero Factory arm, and the fingers have small clips to hold various weapons, like in the original game. It can even pivot the arm to above its back, like in the original game too. Since I didn’t see how to make landing gear for such a ship, I added a display stand too. The display stand uses two small bar parts to link onto the CCBS shell on the arm and hold it in place. It’s really a cool-looking model if you ask me. Anyone here who likes Sonic remember Molly and the Cascadians? If you don’t, I don’t blame you, they only appeared in like 2 episodes of Sonic X in Season 3, but for me (and I bet some other Sonic Fans), they still really stuck out for me. Recently I finished a Minifig of Molly herself, and I already have one of Shadow too. Then I got the new Race Plane set and noticed how many parts it had that were perfect for the standard Cascadian Starfighter that Molly and her other fellow space pilots used in the show. So I decided to make a model of it. This model wasn’t as hard of a build as my other Sonic X ships like the X Tornado and Hyper Tornado. A lot of the parts I took from the Race Plane set, and then added some stuff like an opening windscreen and two side guns just for a play feature. Seems that Lego is making a lot more parts in this sort of dark blue color, and I love this. I even added the bombs on the bottom of the ship, and the four tail fins. The landing gear I made in a manner similar to this one X-Wing set. The only thing that made this take longer than it should have was getting some of the remaining parts like the larger white wings and the tail fins. Molly herself, the body was taken from an Imperial Gunner Minifig, more specifically the variant from the Star Wars Conveyex Transport set. It was the closest thing I could find to her uniform. The rest are less-unique parts, a female Minifig head, a red hairpiece with a back ponytail, light-blue arms and darker blue legs. I’d make a Minifig of her former partner, Leon too, but that Imperial Gunner body is a bit harder to come by. Though if I did manage to get a 2nd Imperial Gunner Minifig body, I think maybe like a head from a Minifig like one of the Ninjago Kai Minifigs and a short black hairpiece would work for Leon. Decided to make another Ninjago Model. After how we did not get an official Elemental Mech for Nya, I decided I’d make my own. I was going to do one for Jay and Zane, but they kinda got their own smaller mechs in Dragons Rising, and I think “Big Zane” also kinda fits the role of a mech for Zane, given how he literally is a robot. Nya though, nothing, and kinda disappointing given her status with mechs like the Samurai X mech. I happen to already own the mechs for Arin, Sora, and I had parts left over from Cole’s Mech after I used them in creating the Knight Titan from Sonic. In fact, a lot of this I first just scavenged leftover parts I had, tried to make something cool, and then bought the rest through Bricklink. I think 70% of this model I already had parts for on-hand, which is pretty good for this one. To make it stand out, I went with a covered canopy as for her to use better underwater, (plus I had that windscreen on-hand and figured I could use it here). Also I added things like propellers on the arms, actually bending elbows through hinge plates, water parts on the sides, a gold-spiked back, and a Mermaid Tail on the bottom part (BECAUSE WATER AND ICE IS WHAT ONLY MAKES SENSE WITH FREAKIN MERMAIDS! EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!) Also it has a giant-sized version of Nya’s Trident, and a holster to hold her regular Trident on the back, kinda like Sora and Arin’s mechs have on the arms. Last but not least, as I show on the bottom right, the parts are interchangeable with the other mechs too, just like the others. I feel some of the parts like the Mermaid Tail and Propellers would probably give this mech an added advantage when parts swapping with the others. Recently after @dave_the_lego_guy proved me wrong about how useful the car chassis part of the new Mini Lego F1 Racers is, I decided to build my own robot figure with one. I picked up the HAAS Mini F1 and decided to get to work with it.I tried incorporating as many parts as I could aside from the Chassis. Including using a bunch of them for the head. Tried for different shoulders and such too. I mainly just used parts I already had so I wouldn’t have to buy as much from Bricklink.Though I feel the legs came out a bit simple, I went for more articulated feet. The back thrusters don’t stay on as well as I’d like, but overall I think it’s okay, even though my purely original creations tend to suck. What do you think? by @hexidextrous

I’m back with another Sonic Lego Model, and a cool one too! One of the Bipedal War Machines used by G.U.N. in the series. The F-6T Big Foot.A couple reasons why I made this. First of all, longer ago when I was a lot less skilled at Lego and had a lot less bricks, I once made a miniature version of the F-6T Big Foot. It’s one of the few models I never took apart from back then, and I recently found in my closet. I decided to then take it, and then use more parts to make a larger to-scale version that is more faithful to the original and can fit a Minifig inside. Thanks to Bricklink and a lot of the newer parts nowadays (like those rotation joints I used here) I was able to make a much better looking Big Foot. I still kept my older version though, and decided to show it with the one I finished today. It kinda shows me how far I’ve come, and the old version could probably pass as a miniaturized version, kinda like the miniaturized Polybag sets you usually see for Lego Star Wars. Second of all, the next wave of Lego Sonic Sets I really am not a fan of. We’re getting a “Command Truck” that looks more like a retooled version of the Lego City Gaming Tournament Truck and less like a Sonic vehicle, and a set of Eggman’s Mech from Sonic Prime (man I hated that show) fighting Knuckles on an Extreme Gear board. Lego, this is not what us fans want from Lego Sonic! You can do better, like you did with the last wave having stuff like the Cyclone and the Biolizard! So I made my own of something we REALLY want from Lego Sonic! So what do you all think? Do you think I did well on this Lego recreation of the Big Foot Mech? Maybe Lego and SEGA will listen to us next wave and give us something other than a Command Truck that doesn’t even fit as a Sonic set. So Lego recently released this cool new Roller Coaster set called Robot World. It was a neat set, but one thing that really stood out about it is a medium-sized remake of a set from one of their older lines that only lasted a short bit and didn’t become a huge thing like Bionicle and Ninjago did. That being the Stealth Hunter Mecha from Exo-Force. I’d link you to it but with how Lego.Com tends to eventually have their links broken, you can just search it up yourself, but yeah, the Stealth Hunter makes a comeback as part of the Robot World set, and it’s even poseable (Except the knees since Lego has some sort of aversion to bending knees lately) and can fit a Minifig inside. Since I don’t think I have room for a Roller Coaster set in my house and am not willing to pay $100 just for the Stealth Hunter remake (plus I still own my original Stealth Hunter so that’s a bonus), I decided to make a similar Medium-Sized Remake of the Grand Titan from Exo-Force, in the same style as the Robot World Stealth Hunter was. I wouldn’t say this is one of my best models, mainly because I just used some extra parts I still had, like some leftovers from Cole’s Elemental Earth Mech and some other stuff like that, but in the style of the Robot World Stealth Hunter, it’s pretty close. The claws and machine gun and shoulder rockets are there and it has the similar bulkiness. I still own a Minifig of Takeshi to put inside the thing too. There’s also holes on the bottom of its feet to put on a stand in a similar way. Although I kinda prefer the Stealth Hunter more (faster and more agile fighters are more interesting good guys to me than big bulky slow fighters), Grand Titan is not the one included in that Robot World Roller Coaster, so I made this one instead.For better resolution pics, check out on my DeviantArt here: https://www.deviantart.com/hexidextrous/art/1100376719 by @hexidextrous

Only a few days after I got the parts to finish my model of the Hyper Tornado from Sonic X, I then got the parts to finish another super awesome Sonic model I was working on. Another one who was a Super-Sonic-level threat much like Giganto. The third Titan on Chaos Island, Knight!Knight went through a few revisions much like Giganto, mainly with his head. The recent Ninjago set, Cole’s Elemental Earth Mech, really helped with him as for the new armor pieces and other parts like the L-shaped plates really helped me finish this guy. Knight’s head was the most challenging part, originally I tried an upside-down Whenua Mask, then a curved armor piece with Bohrok Eyes, and eventually I settled on this brick-built head with the “hair” as wedge plates connected by clips and bars. The Sword was also kinda hard to make as large as it is supposed to be and give the jagged look. The design I went with for the sword involved a black Brutahka sword connected to a bunch of axles and Technic parts with red and black Bohrok Eyes along the middle part. I used a different hand design than I did with Giganto, and it actually allows him to grasp the sword by the handle too! The legs I found a cool way to make by using these long wedge pieces I’ve seen in sets like the Exo-Force Shadow Crawler and the Lego Batman Scuttler, and I used some hole parts and inverted curved slopes to add the wheels to them. I compared my previous Lego Model of one of the Titans, Giganto, to Zane’s Titan Mech in size, and they were about the same size. Knight as you see here is also nearly at the same size as Giganto, if not a little taller, which is fitting. Knight’s legs are very poseable and he rotates a full 360 degrees at the waist too thanks to a ball joint inside. He also is a lot more stable than Giganto, not needing a base to remain upright. The shield comes off to be like his one Shield Throw attack. My newest Sonic themed Lego model I recently finished, and one of the most underappreciated vehicles in the Sonic series, yet still great. THE HYPER TORNADO! If anyone doesn’t remember this ship, The Hyper Tornado was another awesome spaceship used by the heroes in Sonic X. First appearing around the Season 2 finale, the Hyper Tornado was an upgrade to the Tornado 2 that Chuck Thorndyke did for Tails as part of his farewell gift, first being used against the Grand Egg Imperial, then used in Sonic and Co’s battles against the Metarex. Though lacking things like the walker mode transformation that the X-Tornado has, it is much more resistant to damage and an upgraded radar system. Sadly hasn’t appeared in the actual games, though I recall Sonic Omens had sections where the characters pilot the Hyper Tornado, that’s not an official game. I was thinking of so many ways to make the Hyper Tornado. I thought it would be simple to do but turns out, finding the right bricks and adding stuff like the way the top engines are on a 45 degree angle made it harder than I thought. I actually started making this around the time I finished the X-Tornado one but had some problems along the way, but I’m glad with what I eventually came up with. The Lego Creator 3-in-1 set, Space Shuttle, helped with a lot of parts for this actually. Doesn’t have as many play features as my one of the X-Tornado, but it’s still pretty cool, and the landing gear and wings adjust. It’s a bit sturdier than my one of the X-Tornado for sure, and it also has things like the HUD inside the pilot’s seat and the red tips on the wings. There’s also a co-pilot seat in the back. I’ve been wanting to make my own Brick Headz Lego model of a character for a little while, and make it for real, but been deciding on who to make. I had a couple characters in mind at first. I narrowed down my choices to a character from Genshin Impact and a character from Megaman Battle Network, which I figured would be at least more recognizable and still doable, and eventually I decided on Megaman Battle Network. My decision mostly came from the fact that A. I recently bought a Sonic Brick Headz figure and wanted another super hyper awesome video game hero to go with him, and B. I had enough extra bricks lying around that I wouldn’t have to buy as much new ones to finish Megaman.EXE. I think I only needed to buy like 10 new parts to finish this one after I scrounged around my extra parts to find what I needed.Battle Network Megaman is among my favorite Megaman incarnations. I saw some people make Brick Headz figures of Regular and X-series Megaman but not Battle Network Megaman, so I decided to be the first to make him. If you’re wondering, I made the Navi Emblem using some flat round 2x2 Tiles and then put a cut black sticker over them, so I wouldn’t be using paint but stickers this time. Unless Stickers count (and I doubt purists would mind since even official sets use those), no painting was used. I went through a couple tries to make the helmet and eventually found one I liked. Also I even remembered the black hair parts and backpack too. I think he looks pretty recognizable while still fitting with the Brick Headz style. So I managed to get the M-Tron Power Loader from the new Minifig packs, and decided to create a mech for him. I used an old container part to hold his brick part, and I used the claw piece as part of a hose for a flamethrower on the mech. The legs I gave a sort of piston-like look too.Not posting this to DeviantArt though but figure you might like this. by @hexidextrous
