Blowout Season is here!😍

How did I do??

I’m on the hunt for some good quality hair tools! I recently purchased this #revlondryerbrush and I think it worked fairly well, but I’m interested in testing out some other hairdryer brands. I’m also needing a good flat iron!

Drop your faves below!!⬇️ ⬇️⬇️

These results thooooo😍🔥

❇️Products used:

*Alikay Naturals: #glazedarganoilsilkener

Curls for the gworlsssss!🥰😊

Shine courtesy of @alikaynaturals 💙

This foam roller set is hands down my favorite! Quick, simple and lasting!

The #glazedarganoilsilkener helps minimize frizz and adds additional protection from the heat of my blow dryer, and the #naturallyuniquelocoil
provided allllll the shine, honey!😍

I don’t know about ya’ll, but as you can see….I’m ready for Christmas 🎄

What style should I try next???

Fall season is among us, and so are these headwraps, Honey!! 🙌🏾😍🍁🍂

Not only are headwraps stylish, they have so many other benefits:

💙 Protects our hair from harsh elements such as excessive wind, rain or sunlight.

💙 Protects our hair from rubbing against those “sweater weather “ fabrics! (Lint city!)

💙It allows us to give our locs a break from our daily styling!

💙 Preserves our good energy! (Keeps those raggedy peeps away from attempting to touch! 😑👊🏾)

How many headwraps do you own? Comment below 👇🏾 👇🏾👇🏾

I may or may not own a crate full🫣😬

Btw: I’m loving this new @ciara and @summerwalker song #betterthangs I’ve been playing this non stop!😍🎶

What better way to bring in my birthday than by doing what I love most with my friends….hiking! 🥾☀️🌿

This year, I wanted my intention to be centered around wellness, and what better way to honor that than with movement, nature, laughter, and fellowship?

A huge thank you to my friends for taking on these stairs and this Texas heat with me! 😂 We laughed, fellowshipped, encouraged one another, and put in this WORK! 💪🏾

Most importantly, thank You, God, for the ability to move, for good friends, and for allowing me to witness the beauty of Your creation in nature. 🙏🏾

Cheers to 41, full of sunshine, wellness, gratitude, and so much joy! ☀️🥂💛 by @hey_mskrys

I celebrated my 40th birthday in Jamaica with my family last week! And let me tell you, it was hands down the most beautiful and unforgettable experience of my life.

To be honest, the planning process had me stressed (I’m definitely not a planner), and as an outgoing introvert, my social battery was on E for most of the trip😩😂! But despite all of that, what made this experience so special was seeing all the people I love, those who’ve been with me since birth, college, or the past few years, come together and pour love into each other the same way they’ve poured love into me.💙

Blessed to be on this earth for 40 years and living a beautiful and fulfilling life, this trip reminded me, I’m not alone. I’m surrounded by a community, a tribe, that loves me deeply. My family, my friends, even my students (they don’t play about me!), they all show me that love in the most genuine ways.

I thank God for these moments and for every single person who celebrated with me, whether in person or in spirit. I’m truly grateful. I love you all to life! And if you missed out… don’t worry, we just might have to run it back soon.

Cheers to 40! A time was definitely had!🥂🎉 by @hey_mskrys

2024 is the year of the bob💁🏽‍♀️

I haven’t had my hair this short since high school and I did it myself, so it didn’t look nearly as good as this!! Watching these strands hit the floor was so exhilarating!!

Thank you @hairy_godmuva_ for your support and guidance in helping me decide on the perfect bob for me! I’m so in love with my hair and I can’t keep my hands out of it!!

If you’re in the DFW area, follow, book and support @hairy_godmuva_ ……she’s AMAZING!!! She took such great care of my tresses 🥰, not to mention she had great taste in TV shows to watch during your appointment 😂❤️

Just call me Bobiana😊

🚨Wash N’ Go hack!!

One thing I love more than a wash and go, is a STRETCHED wash n’ go!😍

All you need are some hair ties and a blow dryer!

🔑The key is not to disrupt your curls at the ends.

🔑Focus the dryer at your roots.

🔑I typically like to stretch my wash n’ go on day 3 or 4.

Do you like a stretched #washngo ? What are your go to products?

Items used:
🌟Blow dryer- @revlonhairtools @revlon

🌟 Hair ties @goodyhair

I shared my “unsuccessful “ wash and go attempt😩 (it worked out in the end).

This combination just might be my staple!

Products used:

Come through @alikaynaturals !!! They came right on time with this one!! My hair absolutely LOVED this #caribbeancoconutmilkduo 🎉

When I tell you my hair felt so soft, and hydrated! Now, I just need someone to come style this head! ……I completely forgot how much hair I had up until this moment 😩😂

Products used and benefits:

🌺Caribbean Coconut Milk Shampoo: The fatty oils from the coconut oil itself helps to penetrate and replenish moisture back into the shafts of hair! Not to mention, the coconut milk in this product also assists with slowing down hair loss…..come on growth and moisture!!😍

Caribbean Coconut Milk Conditioner: This product provides a healthy PH balance combined with the Caribbean Coconut shampoo…..chef’s kiss 💋

Thank you #alikaynaturals for the great products!! ☺️💐

What style should I try first?? 🤔

We almost there y’all!!😮‍💨🥴

I’ll tell you one thing, this process isn’t for the weak! 💪🏾😉😭

I’m really impressed with the fact I didn’t have to cover my head during this entire process! Honestly, no one noticed the change (or maybe they did, lol) unless I mentioned it.

I did receive a couple of “Did you change something?” Comments 😌. Aside from that, I was a smooth criminal!😎

Now, if anyone could share any good recommendations on a good protein treatment, I’d truly appreciate it! I’m on a mission to regaining my hair’s strength. Any suggestions will help!🙏🏾

More footage to share soon!
