🎥 Throwing it wayy back to 2014 - look at this old thing! These pics are from my FLIP phone too! Haha - interviewing & filming on this old Sony, traveling states, living out of a suitcase, editing footage, writing news articles and product reviews on the road, experiencing adventures that I’ll never forget! Those were great times!

Rewind to early years, mom’s acting/modeling career also led me to be in front of camera all my life. But My First time legitimately *behind* the film camera, I was hooked. 🎣 when I got to film and host some top outdoor guides, running adventures, and the experience gained making YouTube, dvds and TV episodes was the beginning itch for more.

Little did I know, years later, and after many other experiences in Hollywood, I’d meet @miketheproducer and his whole background aligned with mine. “nothing can stop us now” rest is history—We love it.

Sometimes you just gotta look back to see how far you have come and all you have accomplished since the beginning. Stay humble. Be kind to people, trust in God & the timing of your life, on every part of the journey.

Following your heart truthfully is always worth-while.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”

Begin wherever you are!

Appreciate the things that seem small, they will add to your experience. You will meet incredible individuals that will shape that experience.

You will look back on your humble beginning and you will see all the ways you grew as a person, noticing all the things you have gained which you only used to hope/pray for.

*Spoiler alert: the beautiful family you create with the one you love, will be one of the best things you ever gain. ✨ taken in Columbia River by @heyash.ann

Hashtag all the very real things that you *could* use as an excuse not to, But you absolutely refuse to make excuses for them… 💪🏽

I can start with a few of my own…
#endometriosis #ptsd #klippelfeilsyndrome #scoliosis #ribflare
Hernia, ADHD, chronic pain, insomnia, no time, c-section pain, diastasis recti, hormones, kids need me, perimenopause, injuries, spouse needs me, sadness, need to clean, anxiety, need to cook, mind is overwhelmed, too much work, too busy, not enough energy…

The list could always go on & on.
But why would we do that to ourselves?
We can’t. I see you. We just push harder anyway 📈 by @heyash.ann

🎬 BEHIND THE SCENES — THE INHERITANCE

One night. Less than $500 budget. A crew of local filmmakers and film students willing to make some movie magic.

Here’s a little look behind the scenes of The Inheritance, shot for the 2024 Southern Utah Guerrilla Film Challenge. We moved fast, improvised, laughed a lot, and somehow got a movie in the can before the sun came up.

These are the shoots I’ll always love, good people, limited resources, and everyone there because they just want to make something cool.

The Inheritance: Director’s Cut is streaming on youtube. 🎥

THE INHERITANCE — DIRECTOR’S CUT 🎬

Full video streaming on youtube

Back in 2024, we made The Inheritance for the Southern Utah Guerrilla Film Challenge.

The challenge: had to be under 6min in length, less than $500, one night to shoot, and a crew of local filmmakers and film students.

It was pure guerrilla filmmaking—moving fast, solving problems on the fly, and seeing how much we could pull off with almost nothing. More importantly, we had an absolute blast making it.

Now I’ve gone back to the film for a Director’s Cut, revisiting it and presenting it closer to how I originally envisioned it. I will be releasing my 2025 entry soon as well leading up to our 2026 coming this October 18th!

Huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and talent to make this little film happen. 🎥

Soulmate-happiness feels different. We just get each other, on every level, more than anyone else in the world. There is no performance. It’s real in every chapter. We see every layer of each other and love each other deeper because of it. It’s the sense of calming fulfillment that nothing compares to. It heals and gives, more and more, every step of the way with more time. Like long lasting coals that never burn out but keep us the most warm. This is my love and my best friend. In a chaotic world of noise and distractions this right here is the greatest thing to protect; each other, deep connection, loving friendship, committed partnership, devoted family. 🖤 by @heyash.ann
