Water for Plants 🌱 8.29.26

That day we got together again at the market. In the warmth of the morning sun, we slowed down together, paused, and let the ritual unfold before roaming into the aisles. We all arrived with an inkling of what we were looking for, but when we checked in at the end of the day, there was something sweet about realizing that most of us hadn’t found it. Instead, we really opened ourselves up to what was looking for us.

Grateful for the new and familiar faces who were able to join us. Here’s to one year of gathering ‘round the circle, thrifting together, and letting creative conversations take root 🌱❤️‍🔥

Water for Plants 🌱 7.25.26

That morning, we met back at the market and let the day unfold together. The thrifting was actually pretty light, but hearts stayed full. We followed our curiosities, flowing through the aisles before finding our way back to one another. By the time vendors started packing, we were still feeling the warmth of a day none of us seemed ready to leave.

At the end of this month, Water for Plants turns one and we’re doing something special to celebrate 🎊

It feels sweet to approach this milestone together and we’d love to celebrate with the familiar faces who have shaped this first year and with anyone who has been meaning to join us.

Water for Plants 🌱 06.27.26

We gathered again at the market and took some time to slow down together. There was so much overlap with how we were each watering the gardens in our lives. So much resonance with the growing awareness, the inner nudges, the need to zoom out and move more slowly.

Especially appreciate the close-knit circles like these where there’s more room for those opening conversations to keep flowering long after the morning ritual sets us in motion.

The thrifting was stellar and the group chat really did its thing. Thrifting like this really feels like digging for treasures with extra hearts and extra hands.

Water for Plants 🌱 03.29.26

Oh man, this one felt really special with so many firsts ❤️‍🔥

Really big thanks to Johnny for sharing the shop and giving us rich ground to explore what new possibilities can take root in our own space.

Our watering circle felt intimate and the outer ring of familiar faces shuffling in throughout the afternoon made it feel like a full-bodied slice of what we’ve been cultivating at the market. The new activities were also a fun first go, inspired to keep building on them 🛠️

It was a great first time vending and I’m so happy to see some of my favorite garments find great new homes. Seeing my worlds collide and connect made the day especially sweet.

Water for Plants 🌱 02.28.26

It was a small crew this time, so instead of peeling off and staying active through our usual chat, the day was a bit more analog. We moved in our own little loops through the aisles, splitting for a bit, then reuniting to trade quick check-ins and tiny discoveries.

It was also one of those market days where the right things were found. The intentions we set during the opening ritual were met with serendipity later as the market answered back with the kind of finds you can’t force.

Each meetup takes its own shape and the next one is coming soon.

Lately been leaning into the rhythm. Learning and failing lots. Finding ways to stay gentle on myself and slow down. A mentor once told me slow is smooth and smooth is fast. I remember being like huh? slow is as fast as I should go? That always stuck with me. Stay watered friends 🌱 by @heybrto

This is Water for Plants 🌱

On 1.31.26 we gathered at the market. In the midst of everything, we paused, grounded in presence and a shared interest in connecting with ourselves, each other, and the creative currents flowing through the booths.

Somewhere between the pause and the wandering, people found thrifts they’d been looking for, and a even few that seemed to be looking for them.
