Only 4.2% of biological science degrees in the U.S. are earned by black women and by God’s grace, I’m honored to be part of that number.
I can see God’s hand in every step that got me here, all the early mornings, labs, setbacks, and prayers. College didn’t just give me a degree; it shaped me into a resilient woman, and I’m truly grateful for every part of the journey.
This isn’t just my degree—it belongs to everyone who supported me, believed in me, and prayed for me along the way. I’m especially grateful for my village, their love, encouragement, and support carried me through.
This is only the beginning.
