The MD Brothers back together again!

Three years of sharing an office, helping build a BA musical theatre program on an adventure in the United Arab Emirates, and four and a half years later, both of us happen to be back in the same building where we were hired!

A chance crossover with the wonderful @chrissantillan was pure joy … what a perfect welcome back to my first day back at @royalcaribbeanentertainment!

You can’t stop the beat! ⚓️

Thrilled to announce my next chapter: I’ve been invited back to @royalcaribbeanentertainment, joining the fifth largest cruise ship in the world, the Symphony of the Seas!

I’ll be up on the podium until August 2027 as Conductor/Keys revisiting an old favourite, HAIRSPRAY, plus working on the magical in-house production, FLIGHT!

Packing my bags, trading dry land for the open sea, and getting ready to make some motion in the ocean. And don’t worry … @itsalanboulter is a big part of this one! 😍

But first, some breakfast. And then I’m gonna change the world. Rehearsals in Miami are calling … starting this week! 🛳️✨ by @heydrewscott

I found @broadwaypalm online as a kid in tiny Grand Junction, Colorado and it was one of the first theatres I dreamt about working at.

It’s been a massive undertaking to spend a season here as part of its next chapter. I am incredibly proud of the growth in our little orchestra and to be part of the wonderful SWFL arts community.

And to get to do it with @ja_trumpet, @josuecuzco14, and @seanrodrigoroyal?! What a contract!

Resident Music Director? For the PRATHERS? The 22-year-old me hustling in NYC’s bucket list would never believe it. Here’s to doing things for that your baby self could only dream about.

Today, I celebrate eight openings, eight closings, and eight shows a week over the last nine months!

✅ A CHRISTMAS STORY ✅ FIDDLER ON THE ROOF ✅ CATS ✅ PINKALICIOUS ✅ ALL SHOOK UP ✅ THE SOUNDS OF 1967 ✅ RAINBOW FISH ✅ THE WIZARD OF OZ

✨ “My great adventure has begun!” ✨

There is a pure joy in connecting music, performers, and an audience. Nine times a week, we build intricate sand castles. We craft every single detail with absolute precision, and then we do it all over again.

I’m a big believer that my job as MD and conductor is as head cheerleader. We exist to capture the composer’s big idea and inspire our musicians and actors to ignite passion, dream bigger and do their best work.

We connect, breathe, and live in every second of what we do, an intricate collaboration of artists. Best job in the world.

This shot beautifully captures such a special moment in time, so in sync with rising star @laurettelebbad, forever our Jo! by @heydrewscott

Wonderful time visiting the hubby at closing night of CATS @broadwaypalm (even if he did rope me into setting up the orchestra rehearsal room after … a long time since I’ve done that!)😺😸😻 taken in Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre by @heydrewscott

“This is a powerful production that balances humor and drama beautifully. One moment you’re laughing, the next you’re wiping away tears. The music is stunning, supported by an excellent orchestra under the direction of Drew Scott …” @gulfcoastnewsnow by @heydrewscott

BACK TO THE PODIUM! 🌴🎶

I’m so excited to have been personally asked to join the Prather Family of Theatres and to carry on their amazing thirty-year legacy as Resident Music Director at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre (@broadwaypalm) in sunny Fort Myers, Florida … my first time living Stateside in 13 years!

It kicks off this week with A CHRISTMAS STORY, where I get to team up again with one of my favourite directors, Amy Marie McCleary (@directlyamy).

The season ahead is packed with favourites: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, CATS, ALL SHOOK UP, an original revue I get to arrange, and THE WIZARD OF OZ!

Home is still Alan (@itsalanboulter), Clarence (@clarencedoggo), and Oxfordshire. Alan has been incredibly supportive since my first call on the afternoon I arrived in the UK … we even signed the contract together! I’m forever grateful for him taking this next adventure with me.

I’m headed there tomorrow to finally work for a theatre I’ve been following for twenty years. I’m so excited for what’s ahead!

See you at the show! 👋 taken in Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre by @heydrewscott
