Some projects are worth the wait.

This one started as an idea almost seven years ago (!!) and finally became reality this week.

I honestly couldn’t tell you how many times I pitched some version of an invasive collection over the years. Different concepts, different leadership teams, different chapters of Tecovas. I just couldn’t let go of the idea that there was an incredible story to tell.

Fast forward to today, and I’m incredibly proud to see that idea come to life through the Tecovas Invasive Python Collection, and even more proud that we got to tell the story with @raywylie and @ellebarbeito.

I’m forever grateful to our incredible sourcing and supply chain team for embracing the idea and building the supply chain that made it possible from the ground up.

From independent hunters in the Everglades to the designers, tanners, craftsmen, creatives, and everyone else who touched this project along the way, it took an amazing group of people to make it happen.

Sometimes an idea refuses to let go of you. Getting to help bring it to life has been pure joy.

Finally home after an incredible shoot and back to back trips. The shoot was fueled by genuine connections and came together exactly as it was meant to, especially the stuff we didn’t plan. I’m so grateful to be able to spend time doing cool stuff with cool people 🫶
