I saw him live in Baltimore during Thanksgiving break in 2024 on a last-minute stop on my way to DC. I’d always loved 3 Doors Down, but that night showed me who he was beyond the music.

Brad made a massive arena feel personal. He showed up for people. He spoke about faith, perspective, and resisting self-comparison. He signed a poster on stage for a young boy in the audience who overcame a fatal illness and was inspired by their music.

That night stayed with me. It’s why I believe in seizing opportunities and embracing life when it calls you. His presence inspired me, and I hope I can one day connect with even one person the way he did.

I used to think the right mentor would fix everything.

Give me direction.
