IRIS x @gozwift . One mountain. One very big roadside party. 🩷🧡💛 For Stage 7 of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, we joined forces to deliver The Cheer Squad on Mont Ventoux. The result? A mountain full of colour, beats pumping, cowbells ringing, flags flying, people dancing and a whole lot of people coming together to #WatchTheFemmes. It was one day, one mountain and one very special community moment. But we don’t want the energy to stop there. The IRIS Club on Zwift will keep the rides, the community and the energy going, with more chances to ride together wherever you are. From the roadside to the virtual road. The Cheer Squad 2026. Mont Ventoux, that was a moment at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. ⛰️💜 Beats pumping. Cowbells ringing. Flags flying. People dancing. Voices gone hoarse. And when the peloton came through? Pure magic. The Cheer Squad brings the professional peloton and the cycling community together, putting the riders right in front of the people who love to watch them race — and giving everyone on the mountain a chance to be part of it. Friends, clubs, families, strangers. You could arrive knowing no one and leave feeling part of something bigger. One mountain, one shared passion, one very good excuse to dance in the sunshine. A new way to show and tell for @vrijdagprinting • • • If there's one thing a lot of production specialists (us nerds) have in common it's that they tend to put emphasis on techniques. Great, for other specialists and fellow nerds, not necassarily so for, let's say, a client looking for an awesome piece of packaging. Telling a story is actually way more important. So that's what we set out to do. We call it 'from the display cabinet (where the engineers like to put they're stuff on show) to centre stage (where people actually get to enjoy the item itself). It's still all about the engineering, the finesse, the many years of dedication, but it's shown the way people enjoy it: as a fabulous piece of luxury with 3D embossings microstructures and spot UV and foils.. and.. wait, did I tell you about my SMP? How to launch a new brand identity for @vrijdagprinting Vrijdag is, as they say, nothing without the people who make it work. We even wrote it into the brand story like that: "at the base of Vrijdag's success are loyal and passionate specialists. People who love what they do, who have a keen eye for details.." Many people who run the machinery and production at Vrijdag are veterans in their profession and proud of it. To launch the new everything, Vrijdag asked for a special giftbox: personal duplexed business cards, a shirt for off days or 'vrij(e) dag, the tiniest of shirt buttons, and more. Custom everything for @vrijdagprinting • • • From the start it was clear that Vrijdag doesn't like to blow their own horn. They are pretty much the best in what they do (says us), but that's for others to acknowledge. What matters most is that everybody working at Vrijdag is fully aware of the standard to need to keep up, takes pride in it. We used Lessebo Design (@lessebo_paper ) for all paper in use by Vrijdag to reflect that attitude: everything looks basic, until you look again. From the lowly paper to the envelopes, everythings covered in fine patterns. Complexity, intricacy and restraint perfectly executed. The envelopes are all custom designs. We got to nerd out over our favourite functional and aesthetically pleasing shapes: from long square flaps to extra-easy-to-use openings. Timeless and without trinkets. The new logo for @vrijdagprinting is all about reliability. • • • Our design process put contrast at the centre. Connecting old worlds with new, legacy with future ideas, resulting in a timid design for a company that deals in the most intricate products for their clients. After many rounds of sketching logotypes and icons we focused on a modern take of the classic Vrijdag typeface that adorns their building. We got rid of the 90's vibe of the previous logo with its' try-hard serifs and drew a new geometric and modern sans from scratch. Timid and above the noise, as if it had been around since, let's say, 1905. The logo features a very typical Dutch language asset: the I + J digraph or 'lange IJ', resulting in the perfect instrument to communicate Dutch heritage and being truly something different. Many thanks to friend and digraph specialist Pieter van Rosmalen of @boldmonday fame for crafting something truly nice out of the crude materials. The dated crown icon got replaced by a delicate collection of V's loosely resembling a crown, or better, a quality seal. The icon itself has different versions AND it can turn into different patterns. We've been creating some of our best brand identities to date and it's high time to share them. We're not the types to linger on past works, so we'll try (no guarantees) to keep up from now on. The list of archived work has grown way too long. Thank you for sticking around ❤️ • • • Part of the new brand identity for @vrijdagprinting • • • Vrijdag is not just a staple of Eindhoven's heritage (many people know the iconic building 'aan de ring'), they're known worldwide for their keen eye and attention to detail. Rooted in book printing and lithography, Vrijdag specialised early on in the intricate art of creating the finest labels and boxes for cigars. Still outperforming printing companies worldwide in that domain today, their field of expertise now spans a wide range of high end packaging, raising the bar for luxury printing and service worldwide. We've been honoured with being tasked to create the 'everything new' for this more than a century old company. From brand personality and -story to all aspects of the brand identity. An absolute joy to nerd out in intricate details, focusing on translating printed matter to digital and vice versa. Stewards of an industry for physical items, what better way to show people you mean business than with business and compliments cards – we got to explore a vast array of special techniques still in use today.
