#AD there’s still time to get a few weekend projects in, and if you’ve got a split level deck and a smaller home like ours, you might as well use every square inch of space and turn it into a fun space to hang out… and we really need more storage here so the useless pile of dirt was the perfect spot to add a little shed to store all of our outdoor tools. From junk yard vibes to a fun place to hang and watch the kids play! Now someone convince my husband to move the kayak😅 #lowesproject #lowespartner@loweshomeimprovement #lowescreator #backyardtransformation taken in Utah by @heyibuiltthis

From a weird useless patch of dirt to something fun for the kids. I feel like it needs more though?!? What would you add? I also loved using this rock glue! It was so fun to apply! Follow me and comment GLUE for the link plus everything I used for the garden! #diyfairygarden #fairygarden #cottagecore #diylandscape #rockglue taken in Salt Lake City, Utah by @heyibuiltthis

The internet will be happy to report my neighbors did add a downspout… but I had to take it off in the end. What do you think? A simple little project that made this little area look much better! Eventually I’ll add a drain line for the pot to direct water away from the foundation but that’s a problem for another day. #diylandscape #diy #lowesproject #lowescreator #utah by @heyibuiltthis

If you’re planning a kitchen remodel, these are a few kitchen design features I would absolutely add again — especially in a small kitchen with kids.

When we remodeled our kitchen, I wanted it to feel pretty, but I also needed it to function better for everyday family life. Things like a double silverware drawer, hidden pull-out trash cans, pantry pull-out drawers, and dedicated utensil storage have made such a big difference in how we use the space.

Small kitchen storage ideas don’t always have to mean adding more cabinets. Sometimes it’s just about making the cabinets you already have work harder.

What’s one kitchen upgrade or storage feature you have that you’d never skip? by @heyibuiltthis
