I think a person deeply in love with Allah would not hate the idea of death, so that made me wonder why Allah said that.

I realized, what Allah offers us is like the night sky.
On the surface you can see the stars, the moonlight, the planets and you are in awe of it.
But those who dive deeper, know that the universe keeps on expanding infinitely.
An unfathomable depth.

In the past there have been people in the history of Islam, who accepted Islam solely for the benefit of it, they abided by the obligations and they were good to go.
We don't know the percentage of those people.

Allah, being the most loving being,
Is inclusive even of those who dont necessarily dive deeper and abide by His obligations just for the sake of it.
Such people might hate the idea of death, or might not, who knows?

The ending deepened my reflection on how inclusive Allah is of everyone.

It's not us that are special.
Its Him.
