During this CRS pull-out session, we explored prayer — what it is, how we pray, and why it matters.

We also incorporated sensory learning by sitting on carpet grass, creating opportunities for sensory exploration, body awareness, attention, and comfortable participation.

It’s all about making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible to the learner. 💚

Your body is God’s investment in you. You were bought at a price, so you cannot treat your body carelessly.

How to Steward Your Body?
1️⃣ Eat right — Don’t let your appetite control you.
2️⃣ Rest well — Rest is maintenance, not laziness.
3️⃣ Move your body — Walk, jog, run, or play a sport.
4️⃣ Stop what harms your body — Stewardship includes what you stop doing.
5️⃣ Pay attention to your body — Listen to warning signs and seek medical care when needed. Faith doesn’t mean ignoring wisdom.

I took my learner out for a pull-out Science session to help them better understand their class topic on plants. 🌱

We sat outside and used an actual plant to explore the root, stem, leaves and flower, while working on vocabulary, attention, observation and sensory exploration.

Sometimes, creating the right learning environment can make all the difference. 🤍
