new york city through JJ’s eyes 🗽🍎

skyscrapers, subway rides, carousels, museums, parks, and so many little adventures in between. watching him explore the city was one of our favorite parts of the whole trip.

officially a guppy 🐟💙

JJ started swim lessons at the beginning of the year, and today he moved up to the next level.

he earned a “you really shine” token, traded it in for a toy, and was so proud of himself.

watching him grow has been my favorite thing. every time i think i want time to slow down, he shows me something new and reminds me how exciting it is to watch him become his own little person 🥹😍 by @heyitsjj.sc

toddlerchella was not on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are lol

we’ve been to coachella so many times over the years, and somewhere along the way it kind of lost its magic for us.

too hot, too dusty, too many people there just to say they were there.

so coming back this year was really just for laarni’s birthday. and when my mom got sick two days before the festival, bringing JJ with us ended up being the easier option.

what i didn’t expect was for it to turn into one of my favorite festival experiences we’ve ever had.

music festivals have always been such a big part of me and farrice’s story. even when i was pregnant, JJ was already along for the ride, going to five multi day festivals in the womb, and another before he even turned one. so getting to share this part of our world with him felt really special.

it was JJchella in real life, and he was such a little rockstar all weekend. dancing all day and sleeping all night.

and somehow, ironically, it was coachella of all places that gave that back to us.

the desert always calls us back…
and this time, i think it healed something in me too 🥹🥰 by @heyitsjj.sc
