Year 4️⃣ FloydFest was magic ✨ … again! The music, the mountains, our camp, our fest friends, the food, the folks we met! This is always a small escape for us every year and always requires some time with re-entry as soon as we leave festival park because it’s just that special! Month and a half update and the addition is moving FAST and @jweezie280 is absolutely slaying. Feuding with our new raccoon neighbors who have been knocking down my feeders, getting good at spotting hawks, transplanted some plants from the old house, learning more about the chicken gals and loving watching cooper adapt to his new home. 😍 #citytothecounty taken in South Knox by @heyitsmelacy

Month 1 moving to the county and loving all our new neighbors! Cooper is living his best life and still figuring out his relationship with the chickens. Our not-so-little dude made it, whewwww! His world is about to get so much bigger and I can’t wait to see what he does with it. Go big or go home dude. The sweet friends that we purchased our new home from threw us both a “Out with a hug, In with a holler” party on our new property. We haven’t quite moved in yet but it was an incredible celebration to show our friends and family our new dream! J grilled 7 different meats Brazilian bbq style, did trail ride tours, had some live music and a Lacy-size fire under the stars! We are beyond excited for this new journey and all our new neighbors, including the owl family, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, chickens, turkeys, deer and coyotes. ✨ Trading the city lights for the open skies! taken in South Knox by @heyitsmelacy

Saturdays in the South :: it’s fun to think about how so many other people do “game day” across the country. All the traditions, the tailgates, the walk to the stadium, everything that leads up to that first snap.
