Here’s your reminder to not use topical steroids around your eyes because cataracts are side effect you don’t want!

So g glad I can see better distance wise again, but looking at my phone is a hazy blur and I’m just glad I somewhat memorized the keyboard haha

DONT USE STEROID OINTMENTS AROUND YOUR EYES!!!
If you can avoid using topical steroids, I would highly suggest you find alternatives because the amount of people who go through topical steroid withdrawal because of the lack of consulting doctors don’t do to inform patients of the side effects or consequences that these ointments can do is wild.

Side note: the balm I was using that I thought was steroid free, wasn’t prescribed by a doctor but was given to me to help me out, which I decided to blindly trust.

But I’m just going to continuously believe that I’m healing 🤞🏼

Had the chance to stop by @missbabyscafe at the Bridgeland market on July 17th! Was super excited to try their matcha because it looks so good 🤤

I got the Thai tea matcha and my friend got the Tableya hojicha! I honestly really liked how the matcha wasn’t diluted in flavour (I find a lot of places give milky matcha), the thai tea syrup was really good the first sips, until I mixed it and the flavour of the syrup kind of disappeared but it was still good regardless! I’d definitely go back to their pop up to try their other matches and the hojicha (that looked super yummy + my friend really liked her drink too)

Tried hey tea in Toronto!

Got the blue matcha cloud 🍵☁️
I give it a 6/10, wasn’t a fan of the coconut milk they used

I also say lifestyle content but I think I’m still in the process of defining what that means for me! But recently I’ve been more open to sharing the good and the bad of going through topical steroid withdrawal.

I’ve always enjoyed sharing food recommendations, beauty related things and ootds (if you scrolll further down)

If you’d like to stick along the journey if this page, hit that follow button!! I’d appreciate the support 🫶🏼

Bridgeland is so nice to go to!

Enjoyed a night out going to @villageicecream and getting a scoop of stracciatella (so yum, love the dark chocolate in it), then getting a bite at @nativetonguesyyc and ending the night with @machimachi_canada (ordered a hot oolong cream latte with lite sugar)

Also the view of downtown at night is so pretty with the lights from the buildings. I wanted to take pictures when I got there but totally forgot haha

Your sign to head out with your girly pops over the weekend!!

Thankful that I got to meet up with my girly, and catch up! Love the catch ups along with eating great food! Glad to know that Bridgeland has a native tongues location (got birria and carnita tacos)

Going out with flared skin is tough y’all, the thought of being perceived in moments like this is anxiety inducing. But being able to at least put on some eyebrows helps boost my confidence a bit!

If you told me I would be posting a terrible flare 3 years ago, I’d be GAGGED

These are two creams I’d recommend for those with sensitive skin to try, but ofc do your own research before you purchase to make sure it’s a good fit for you.

Those who are going through an active TSW flare should avoid moisturizer as it could do more harm than good because of how broken the skin barrier is.
