It’s no surprise that Jacob Wright is one of my favorite artists. He’s someone I’ve talked about many times here on Off The Record, so this interview is extra special to me. I’m so proud of him and this new project, and I can’t wait for you all to hear what he’s been working on.

In this episode, I sit down with the singer-songwriter to talk about his upcoming EP and the personal journey that shaped the project. We dive into the music he grew up with, from Coldplay to the Jonas Brothers, and how those early influences helped shape his love for songwriting.

Jacob also opens up about how much his life and identity have changed since he last released music, the role vulnerability plays in his songwriting, and how his experiences over the past few years inspired this new chapter. We talk about which song took three months to finish, and why completing it gave him the confidence to finally share this project with the world.
