Wrote this demo - This was, let's just say, a lyrical expression of some insights and experiences I've had.

Musically - this is a piano version of "On the nature of Daylight" by Max Richter. Tried various others possibilities. But couldn't come up with something truer than this.

The recording/track may seem pretty rough and untreated. Was lying on my computer for a year or two - so thought it was better I put it out.

LYRICS:
Aisa Lage Aisa Lage
Jaise paas mein hai tu
Phir bhi hai meelon ka faasla

Aisa Lage Aisa Lage
Jaise har saans mein hai tu
Phir bhi khoya hu, Jaise ho ek khwaab sa

Haaan, main hu
Raaston pe...
Main hu kahaan?
Oh rehnumaa...

Sar mera chakrata hai
Shabdon ke ye jaal mein
Raahat ke pal ko churaya hai...
Tere Sannaton se

Humse raha na jaaye
Khoya Khoya kinaare
Apne hi jhanjaare ko kiya hai tere hawaale

Started working on this with PARDUN in March 2020 just when the lockdown hit in.
The song speaks my mind reflecting upon Life and the human condition.
KYA MILA speaks about the futility of comparison and the nature of the mind. The idea of the grass always being greener on the other side, and our hearts always seeking for more.
---
I hope you like the song as much as we do.

This demo I made with @pardunmeplz in 2020. Resharing it.

Still think the ideas are a bop and very novel creative amalgamation of sounds. I'm feeling old, made this 5 years ago.

wandering in Kasar to find Sunyata Baba's spot on Crank's Ridge. Image 2 is the only image of his spot in the public domain. Must be some hippie traveller in the 90s.

Sunyata Baba (Alfred Sorensen) lived here for 40 years in silence, and was supposedly considered a jeevanmukta. His house and Samadhi, brought to ground with very few remains.

Spiritual Film Recommendations part 1:
I've missed quite a few - and tried to keep these rather accessible. Might do part 2.

Aur dariya reh jaaye
