This might be one of my favorite projects this season.
•
The order was for a luxury picnic by @heyletsteepee that happened this week.
•
Each of the smaller vessels is an old fashioned ice cream cup, and if the picnickers consume ice cream like my family does, they’ll be using these keepsakes every night for the rest of their lives 🙃
•
The larger middle arrangement is in a pumpkin ribbed, matte white bowl that is a great staple for decor/a catch all, but works ESPECIALLY well during the fall.
•
I love finding second hand vases for my flowers that are usable vessels after the blooms are spent. These three were some of my favorites. I *need* to find more ice cream cups. They’re flower vase perfection and so fun to have around the house to make my end of the day treat even more special.
•
For those of you who pay attention to my stories at all, good ice cream is something I splurge on. Cold stone: German chocolate cake with chocolate cake batter ice cream, no pecans, sub extra brownie. It deserves a special dedicated cup.
•
What is something that you splurge on for yourself?
•
Also, back to flower business, the dahlias and zinnias are still popping, I think I’ll have enough for the cart this weekend. This is SO late in the season I can’t even believe we still have flowers around, but I’ll be making the most of it while we can, so be on the lookout for that announcement!
•
Happy official fall season flower friends ☺️
