10/24 w/ @_djstrawberry @nashaification @heylibuse A1C3 (live)

Thrilled to be hosting Berlin based producer DJ Strawberry for his first time in Denver! Originally from Istanbul, his sound pulls influence from fringe amniotic genres to weave a tapestry of propulsive rhythms that are easier to get lost in than to classify.
Joined by stellar locals & presented through the @breakeven_productions sound system!

Get in girl, we're Honchoposting ❤️

Year five on this beautiful land doing this crazy thing with the most wonderful people finds me with more that I've learned and less to say, because truly what else can be said? To spend a week being my most authentic trans self without masking and to be met with nothing but unconditional love from the people around me is something I will never take for granted. A special thank you is due to all the other girls who made this campout feel not only queer but actively trans for me in a way that was novel and so very lovely to share together.

I am so honored to contribute my technical skills to support this music we all love and gather around and for friends new and old who perform for us all. I am at my best as the booth gremlin running cables, recording sets, and facilitating performances for DJs and queens with all the little responsibilities in between. Hemlock Hole felt like Hemlock Home this year and it was such a pleasure to keep up the house for everyone who visited.

For every captured moment there are tens more for which my phone was, blissfully, not present. Whether recorded here or not, I love each and every one of you with whom I shared a dancefloor, conversation, or moment with. I am so inspired to hold this energy close in my life and carry it through until next year! ❤️ taken in Honcho Campout by @heylibuse

🌑 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ~ Libuše

Libuše is a Denver based DJ, producer, and lighting designer with an adoration for live production. She has been lighting up Denver’s underground for the past year in her work for Prissy, Blackpetal, & Con Amor, and her shows feature a dark & exacting lighting style that she performs live as a three way conversation with the DJ & dancefloor. @heylibuse

There is a new immersive lighting system, dark, controlled, and we are excited for Libuše to bring it alive with moments that flow through the room.

FREE DOWNLOAD: ICONS OF BOM KLAKK
Out today on Bandcamp
Featuring @rcmz.to @circular_square.mp3 @john_lambrusco @heylibuse @neidadn @nasamotek

“Aren’t people just amazing? We believe that most people have the potential for greatness in one way or another, and it’s just a matter of finding what and how, whether it’s in the cozily mundane or delightfully strange. “Greatness” is a relative concept that can be as local as it is international. Creativity in the wild needs to be encouraged because it’s so often suppressed and discouraged by cynical elders who think they know better about everything just because they too had a life, or peers who suppress to appease their own egos in the belief that it will somehow elevate them by comparison.

To stand and show oneself creatively can be daunting for many of us, to put yourself out there to be judged can seem like an impossible ask. But if we are not here to show our true selves, to play, to experiment, and connect with others through all means—with creativity being a fantastic one—then what are we here for? Creativity is our greatest human asset, an abstraction that separates us from species that toil without self-reflection.

These six people are among many wonderful folks who put themselves forward for our Bom Klakk Creative challenge, and they produced our favorite pieces of music from the glittering array of entries. So we’re very happy to share their music with you, and may you enjoy it as much as we do!

Elevate others around you, celebrate your friends’ creativity, do what you can to make other people’s lives better. “ by @heylibuse

I'm Very excited to welcome @_zei_gler_ as my guest for the third episode of my Radio Show "Codices" on @zabrijradio ! Zeigler and I met through the US festival Honcho Campout a few years back and have been keeping up musically ever since. He's delivered an hour of jazzy, funky, and dancefloor oriented musical magic for us this month, and my second hour will highlight some recent tracks I'm feeling that match the energy he's brought!

Tune in live on Friday at 6pm Denver/8pm New York/2am (Saturday) Zagreb, or listen back on the Zabrij SoundCloud after the show! by @heylibuse

I'm excited to announce my new monthly radio show, "Codices" will be debuting on @zabrijradio next Saturday at 02:00AM in Zagreb //6:00PM here in Denver, with new episodes every second Saturday of the month ❤️‍🔥

Codices is a show about the magic that I have always found in electronic music and divided into two parts. First, you'll hear a DJ mix by myself or a guest centered sharing their own interpretation of that theme. Then, for the second hour, I will be narrating a "focused listening session" for further magical tracks that I don't always have a chance to highlight on the dancefloor 🌀

Many thanks to the team at @zabrijradio for having me on. I'm very excited to nurture this fledgling Denver - Zagreb connection with their kindred creative spirits 💫 taken in Zagreb, Croatia by @heylibuse
