The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain or whatever 💃🏻 by @heymegandunn

My first best friend. Protector. My best secret keeper. My sister.

Kate left this world far too soon on Thursday. I struggle to find the right words (really any words) still. The shock and the pain is all consuming. But there are a few things I know.

She is, without a doubt, with us always. I hear her in the laughter of her two precious boys. I see her in the meticulous organization of her closets and the to-do list on her family’s fridge. I feel how loved she is and always will be.

I am so grateful I had her as my big sister. I’m so grateful she lived her dream of becoming a mother, marrying the love of her life, having her family. I’m so grateful she met my soon to be husband when she did and gave me the Big Sister Seal of Approval ™️.

We simply did not have enough time with her, and a part of me will never be the same. But I hear her telling me to keep going. So I will.

We love you Kate. We’ll hold it down for you here, just like I promised. by @heymegandunn
