My face when the Cowboys drafted CeeDee Lamb 😍 boomer sooner & we dem boyzzz!

Last night I caught myself so wishing that I was going to school today to discuss all the drafts w/ my 7th boys & hear their thoughts.
It reminded me how important & crucial student relationships are! Most of my boys in class love football so I always discussed it with them (it helps that I love it, too) just to show that I’m interested in things they care about. I had other students that couldn’t care less about football so I have to find a way to connect to them another way.
It’s a game changer getting to actually know your students & showing them you care. 🤍 by @heymissup

Throwback to when I went to @ronclarkacademy. My first time visiting was the spring before my first year teaching. I’m so thankful for the visit because it helped shape me into the teacher I am today. This place is so magical. 💫 by @heymissup
