Zion has always been unapologetically herself, and as her parents, we’ve always made room for her to explore and love what she loves. Her love for alternative rock definitely came from me 😂🎸, but her love for music and all its different genres is all her.

I always say, sometimes we walk so our children can run. Watching her grow into her own person, with her own interests and personality, is one of my favorite parts of motherhood. She’s never been one to fit into a box, and I hope she never feels like she has to.

Here’s to nurturing her interests, giving her experiences, and raising a girl who can walk into any room and feel like she belongs.

SAVE THIS 🫶🏽 My easy baked spinach dip!

For about a 9x11 pan:

You’ll need:
• 2 bags frozen spinach, thawed + squeezed DRY
• 8 oz cream cheese
• 1 cup sour cream
• ½ cup mayo
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• ½ cup grated Parmesan
• 1–1½ cups shredded cheese for the top — I used a mac & cheese blend + sharp cheddar

Season with:
Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Tony’s Creole seasoning + a little paprika. I season with my heart, so adjust to taste 😂

How I made it:
Melt the butter on the stovetop, then add the cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, garlic and seasonings. Mix until smooth.

Add your squeezed spinach + Parmesan and mix everything together.

Spread into your baking dish and top generously with cheese.

Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for about 5–10 minutes, just long enough to get everything hot and melty.

Remove the foil, switch to broil for 4–5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly with those little golden crispy spots. WATCH IT because broil will humble you QUICK. 😂

That’s it. Serve it hot with tortilla chips, toasted bread or crackers. 🤌🏽 by @heysancheir
